if this is true... fecking wanker, get the feck out and I hope the Kop eats you alive on your return, bitch.

Their Torres thread could be as epic as our Rooney thread.

Do all Rawk posters have some sort of deeply sexual and slightly perverted relationship with Liverpool F.C?

Apologies if posted before:

All this time it’s been about you.
I’m tired of saying please.
All the begging, bleeding, screaming.
I’m finally breaking free.
Letting go of my chains
you’ve tied me up for so long.
It’s always about you.
And I’m tired of being wrong.
I can’t hold you up forever.
It’s time to go be me.
I’m sorry but feck your feelings.
It’s time for you to see…

It’s not about what you think anymore.
Don’t criticize me.
I’m not changing myself for you.
I never meant to be…

I’m selfish, I’m lazy, and I’m rude.
Say what you want to say.
I hurt you, I broke you, and I’m sorry.
Nothing can make me stay.
I’m thoughtless and careless,
and maybe that’s true.
It’s my fault I’m guilty.
Whatever helps you through.
You can’t help me do this.
I can do it on my own.
I’ve never been the one for you.
We’re better off alone.

It’s not about what you want anymore.
Don’t criticize me.
I’m not changing myself for you.
I never meant to be.

I find it incredibly funny that any player who even entertains the idea of leaving Liverpool for another club is labeled a traitor by RAWK, and is called all kinds of names.

I couldn't give two shits if Torres stays or goes, and even whether he joins Chelsea or not, but what makes them think he owes them some kind of loyalty? He left his hometown club, where he was revered, for Pool because he felt it was the right move for his career. Now, three and a half seasons later, he is yet to win his first trophy there and they have in fact gone backwards.

If true, well done to Torres for seeing the light (kind of) and forcing a move away

There are times when I think written depravity cannot get any lower than comments on youtube, then RAWK comes to mind.

Couple of favorites on the thread

"His(Torres') book is a great example and would put all of your minds at rest. In fact, I'm off to read it now..."

"Players left on the pedestal, assuming this is true: Reina, Kuyt, Lucas."

Tbf, he has become something of a hero for them. If John O'Shea or Darren Fletcher had done what Rooney did, 75% of the people here wouldn't have cared, and some might have been happy. But Rooney is possibly our best player, and his 'betrayal' made this place mental for a couple of days.

That thread is gold - the OP blames Purslow, someone then blames Hicks, someone then blames Gerrard and Carragher, and then someone blames Moores.

Liverpool F.C. - living the past, today!

Be interesting to see how the fans react to FSG if this goes through.

They can't be blameless. They haven't appointed a long-term manager, merely pandering to fans' romanticism and delusion. They don't seem to have any coherent plan, and haven't even appointed a chief exec yet.

Hardly surprising Torres is thinking same old shit.

His armband proved he was a red, Suarez Suarez
You'll never walk alone it said, Suarez Suarez
He bought the band from a lad in Spain.
Tall, blonde hair, forgotten the name.
Luis Suarez Liverpool's Number 9

Torres who?

:'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

He can't go, not Fernando.

Oh deary me. :lol::lol::lol:

Is there any actual reliable source saying Torres is off?

If he's going to Chelsea what's he thinking, he doesn't seem the type to play for that lot. Why doesn't he wait for the summer and go to a nice Italian club?

I think Torres would do well at Chelsea in fairness, less pressure on him so he can focus on scoring.

This Torres stuff vaguely reminds me of the start of the Ronaldo bollocks.

Expect him to claim he's a slave in the summer, and Daglish to claim he wouldn't sell that cockney lot a sexually transmitted disease.

Well it seems like there's a loose cannon at Chelsea ringing up random clubs about random players (one of Roman's henchmen probably). Done of the deals actually get done though, see Pienaar, Luiz, Aguero et al.

I think its a Chelsea fan playing FM that is plugged into the real world of football.

 Funny, but a very good call. It's possible. I for one, am very keen to sit back and watch, popcorn and all. :D

He's not a loose cannon if he's doing it with the Beeg Boss's approval.

Plech, I suspect maybe he's grown comfortable in England, and maybe he feels he "can't" return to Spain and play against his boyhood club. As for Italy, is it really that big of a challenge?

Why would he go to Chelsea? He knows they've got deep pockets, and just going in for him and Aguero is a sign that the checkbook will be out to rebuild the team.

They won the league just last year with more goals scored than any other PL team ever. Recent events show Roman is not as disinterested in the club as was reported (wishful thinking, I feel), and is reacting this window in the best way he knows how. Abramovich's people can sell it to Torres as "we want to play more silky football, and less 'battering-ram' stuff - help re-make us as Drogba reaches the end of his top-level career". They can use Torres as the springboard to build their next team for the coming 3-4 years.

It is his best chance to be competitive in England. He gave Liverpool a chance and they're a hopeless mess - even more than when many thought he would leave in the summer. Since we've not got the need, Arsenal don't have the money, Spurs don't have the pedigree, and City arguably don't have the stability, Chelsea may seem the best bet.

He can certainly win things with them, and what you say about rebuilding around him makes sense. It's just... they're Chelsea. He might as well go to Real.

I'm sure he would, he's just not a Chelsea player. He's got more class and soul than that.

What the feck doers that even mean? Why has he got more soul than Didier Drogba or Michael Essien exactly?

He left his boyhood club to win trophies apparently, shame that his boyhood club then went and won one as soon as he left.

He seems like every other mercenary footballer to me, no better, no worse.

Well he stayed at his boyhood club a long time, much longer than, for instance, Rooney. He was in demand for years before then. And he wouldn't hear of going to Real.

Then he went to Liverpool... whatever we all think of them, and no matter how ridiculous RAWKites are, they're a proper club with history and values. They weren't particularly likely to win a trophy and they didn't pay the highest wages.

He's stuck it out with them for years of rubbish and it's still not certain he wants out.

Basically he seems like a good lad with a brain in his head. Shame to see someone like that go to Chelsea.
