It's been all downhill for Liverpool since Rafa's infamous press conference.

BURN TORRES BURN!! HOW feckING COULD YOU?! YOU SAID YOU LOVED THIS CLUB!!! YOU SIGNED A LONG-TERM CONTRAAACT! feckING TRAITOR SCUM!!! LEAVING THE TEAM YOU SUPPORT FOR A TEAM IN THE SAME LEAGUE?!!

Oh, and welcome Andy Carroll.

IMO Torres is well and trully fed up with the scousers

They made him play thru pain, shitty line up, and having to face Gerrard and Carragher in the changing room. That and they made him looks like a chihuahua playing here you go boy catch the hoofing ball.

So when he finally got his move, he sticks his middle finger and says "there you feckers!"

Now they're gonna be wishing him injury as well... ah, what the irony!

The last one is brilliant. "fecking Spanish bastard, may your dog die of cancer you cnut."

No kidding, we are still singing Ronaldo's name.

That's what I love about RAWK, I've never seen such a huge collection of mentally unstable drama queens. They're kind of like a reality TV show, you know it's shit, you know the participants are deluded and borderline crazy, but that's what is so fascinating about it, it's like watching a train wreck.

I could read that stuff for hours, pure entertainment.

You should request for your username to be changed to Protorres - they'll like that.

Some of our fans did the same and worse with Rooney and that scenario.
Nobody burned the shirt. Most of us just called him a cnut on the internet. It's been a few hours and already there's been pictures and videos of about 10 Liverpool shirts being burned.

Some of our fans did the same and worse with Rooney and that scenario.

To be fair, Rooney's won a lot of trophies and personal awards at this club, and no one would bet money against us winning more in the future, yet the story was that he wasn't sure whether or not we were good enough for him.

I don't think it's so much out of line for Torres to think that his chances of finding success with Liverpool have only decreased since he first got there.

I think if you look at it objectively, the story surrounding Rooney (whether true or not) set him in a far worse light than Torres has appeared in the last couple of days.

How i would love to play for Liverpool right now.

I can only dream to play against Chelsea and score the winner, I'd walk up to Torres and just look him in the eye. "and what Nando, and what?" I'd say.

Spanish people generally use diminutives for certain names, it's normal. Fernando can be Nando or Ferni, Jose is Pepe, Ignacio is Nacho, Francisco is Paco, etc.
I'm well aware of where it comes from. It just bugs me when I hear scousers using it as if he was a personal friend. I might get over it if his first and second names were long but it is easier/as easy to say Torres.

Just one of those things that irks me.

Ye, but who could blame either? Torres probably has some ambition, and at Chelsea he has a decent chance now. Carrol was probably chased out of Newcastle..

To be fair to Carroll, if Liverpool have offered £35m to Newcastle, what were they supposed to do? He may not have wanted to go but for that price Newcastle could hardly refuse.

So has anyone over there even dared to question the merits of this purchase? the fact that its extremely risky?

Probably not knowing RAWK. If we bought Carroll yesterday the CAF would cease to exist today

No kidding, we are still singing Ronaldo's name.

Bad comparison? Ronaldo didn't move to a direct opponent within the league. I promise you our reactions would have been different if he had moved to Arsenal or Chelsea. ;)

But I can see where you are coming from. They are hugely overreacting. Firstly, it's only football. Secondly, Torres did what he had to do. He was willing to spend his career there and gave the Liverpool management many chances to improve the club. He only left when he saw nothing would change at Anfield in the next few years. We often talk about Giggs' or Scholes' loyalty and they are my football heroes and always will be. But let's be honest for a minute - it's easy to stay loyal if you win constantly titles.

You can't blame Torres for leaving, even from a Liverpool fan point of view. What they could blame him for is his style - no goodbye message to the fans who used to adore him, instead bigging Chelsea up and belittling Liverpool fans. I laugh at them because fortunately we are not in their position but if I was them I'd be fuming due to that two points. They really don't deserve this, given they treated him like the God of Liverpool.
