Stockholm syndrome?Cantona called it in a thread. I had my doubts all the time, but with time passing, I am pretty convinced that he isn't a United fan. There is Stockholm syndrome, and there is being like him. Nowadays he doesn't even try to hide his pure hatred for United.
Stevie, legend dangling limply between his legs, felt the surge of Mersey adrenaline as the crowd roared.Time to make them all pay.
The hated opponents, the false messiah blind to his genius.
We're off. The ball's there, I think, have that you scum ponce. The adulation of the mob rings round the amphitheatre, revelling in the violence. Yes. He still has it. The day is his. His. The full impact of the Liverpool communion surges through him. Only with his followers does he feel whole.
This little twerp dares to challenge me. Me. How dare he? Take that!
A song enters his head unbidden orchestrated to the crowd's roar. His vision clears to an impossible block of red. Has this man lost his senses? This is his God he approaches. This insect cannot mean it.
The unsettled lull penetrates his fogged perception. High-pitched incomprehensible murmurs protest innocence. That there is no hurt. No fault. But soon, fallen, the idol walks slowly accompanied by hubris and envy back over the touchline.

Ouch! Vicious! Well written article ta for link, @fishfingers15Not RAWK, but an alternative take on Gerrard's sending off. That's some superlative writing to be fair.

Since everyone is being so sensitive to this why bring in the 'class' aspect. Do middle and upper class people not matter, they can die? Just proving a point that no matter how people talk about this topic, you can always find a reason to find something wrong, if you really want to.Well said.

Next time when they have a title winning celebration they should actually do it when they have won the title. We're seeing a prime example of this from United fans now. When we welcomed the team bus to Anfield in the latter stages of last season (2 or 3 games to go) and, optimistically sang "we're gonna win the league" we were accused of being deluded, arrogant, celebrating prematurely.
Next time when they have a title winning celebration they should actually do it when they have won the title.
Yeah, but then they'll never have a title winning celebration again.Next time when they have a title winning celebration they should actually do it when they have won the title.

I've had a look at the shape of both teams, the tactical movements and marking assignments, the principles of play behind the contrasting philosophies and the strengths of both attacks and defences. I also drew up complex tactical diagrams, gridded out the main areas of concern, and circled the main 1v1's that will be vital to the game. Following that, I established a statistical simulation of 1000 games based on key metrics concerning attack and defence, the condition of the field, the vociferousness of the supporters, and the relative statistical strengths of both teams possible formations. The conclusion was clear.
We're going to smash these into the middle of the international break.

In the bigger picture, this is the equivalent of the Chelsea game last season, to a lesser extent. By that, I mean that it is a big obstacle that we need to get past to achieve an objective we are pursuing. Whether we get top four or not, we need to win this game for the future, because the players will learn a lot about themselves by being able to get past a direct opponent and overtake them in the table. It will be a valuable lesson. And because that potential lesson exists, I think we'll go into this game very assured, confident, and clinical.
PhaseOfPlay
We're playing panic football, right into United's hands. No leadership on the field, and nobody wants to put their foot on the ball and slow the game down. Cue one Steven Gerrard to get us out of the mire again.

The importance of what matters has its goal posts moved each season.
I believe that this year the best thing for the club, will be a top 4 finish(generally like most years if we are honest), the best thing for the team this year(considering their age and development) is to win the FA cup - which for me will galvanise the team.
Next year that my change, but right now, this season, an FA cup over everything for me.
The CL is shit we know - its like a boozer that you don't like. but all the birds go there so you go, cos you know that's the place to be, even if you don't like it. That for me, is my analogy on the CL.

Next time they should try celebrating winning the Bundesliga.Next time when they have a title winning celebration they should actually do it when they have won the title.
Johnno said:For me, as a United fan, Jones's header on Lallana was a cast-iron red all day long. I've looked at it in slo-mo and Jones is never getting close to heading anything but Lallana. Jones might argue that he got there as quick as he could but as his timing was behind the clock, that doesn't make it any the less a red.
He was never going to shell out for such a luxury.Unfortunately, he only has a secondhand copy of Mario Kart 64.

Champions league is a pile of shit these days anyway. Feck 4th. Who finished 4th last time we won the title? If you know that without googling it then you're a liar. Who knows and who cares.
I've read some of his content and whilst it's clear he has an in-depth knowledge of the game, he's an unbelievably condescending twat who thinks his opinion matters more than anyone else. Doesn't help that the majority of them collectively suck his d**k.This guy thinks he's some sort of sage. Everything he writes is so overwrought.

That was a good read. What concerns me a bit though are all the bellends in the comment section not realizing it's spoof. How do these people survive, let alone get on a computer and read stuff
?
Like your football opinions hard-hitting, ill-thought-out and ceaselessly xenophobic? Good. You're in the right place. Because ALEX NETHERTON is here to SHOUT the FACTS the others don't even have the BALLS to whisper. This is a spoof.
