What do they need to discuss, every one of their players is undeniably the best in the world in their position.

Maybe they have a high number of ex players that love club compared to others because other clubs (us anyway) keep their best players for the bulk of their career so we don't need to pin hopes to the thought that the players may have left but still have us in their heart... You make it sound as if it's 360k a week before tax for Liverpool but our players wages are all after tax, no our wage amounts are all before tax too.
So yes, it is as high if not higher than just about any player in the world

I think you've missed something about the original post. He's not amending it to take account of tax. He's amending it because the original quoted wage is in dollars not pounds.
