RAWK Goes Into Meltdown 2016-17 Edition

They think they can sign Pogba/Pogba will go to them?

New levels

On Balotelli:

I have no particular axe to grind with him but if you remember, when he arrived 2 years ago, he spoke of how he was different now and had settled down with his girlfriend and was going to get married. 2 months later he was banging a hairdresser from Liverpool.

..
the idea that Manchester United can afford Bale or Pogba, without taking a potentially devastating risk. But, their fans still seem to believe this myth, and will continue to give them their money for a few years. Like I mentioned in the other thread, Manchester United are the Nokia of the Premier League. Their days at the top are numbered, because they can't see what is coming. Even the oil clubs have appointed proven builders and developers in Guardiola and Conte.

While Manchester United think that their risky Galacticos policy can get them back to the top, the smart clubs like Liverpool, Tottenham and even Manchester City and Chelsea have appointed proven builders and developers. The playing field in the Premier League is being levelled by the new TV deal, and only the clubs with a real plan will get to the top. Manchester United don't seem to be one of those clubs.

 Haven’t our days at the top been numbered every summer since the 1st PL win?

They're all saying how Jose's been found out and they can sense the implosion coming already, but in their "Predict next season's top 10" thread, 80% of the predictions have United finishing above Liverpool.

I like how Pep is a builder and developer despite only ever managing two clubs, one for 4 years and one for 3 years, both of whom had ready made world class squads. Conte is a builder and developer despite the fact that he is in his 7th job in a career spanning 10 years, where three years was the longest he's ever spent at one job. Pochettino is a builder and developer having managed three clubs again, with the longest spell at any one club being three years.

But Jose, the most successful of the bunch, is a chancer who is neither a planner nor a developer, despite a career where he has had two three year spells at clubs.

In my lifetime, I can't remember the country being so united in wishing hilarious failure upon something within football.

Cantona:
In your lifetime you can't remember the country being so united in wishing hilarious failure upon something within football?

Surely something must have slipped your mind.

Just read the last few pages of their Mourinho thread and feck me, they don't half talk some absolute bollocks about us, i don't know where they dream up some the shite they say lol.

I like how they come up with sweeping statements like that and not have anything even remotely backing up their claim.

"Man Utd buy expensive player. It be risky. Because."

You couldn't make it up. Builders & developers  we don't need a new stadium, thanks.

Klopp the Builder, can he fix it?
Klopp the Builder, not a hope!

''I promise I'm going to be here for a long time and build a dynasty, and on top play lovely attractive football''.

''It'll be different this time, its where I want to be'' yadda yadda yadda

Yeah right.

There's no reason to believe this will be any different from all of his previous jobs.

Initial success, followed by the 3yr itch.

He'll be gone after that and Utd will have to shell out a shed load again because chances are that dynasty he promised won't quite happen.

In addition, I'm not so sure he'll enjoy quite the initial success he has done at previous clubs.

I love how Klopps horror season is washed over as a blip but Mourinho is finished after last year

Being called the Nokia of the premier league by the Beepers of the Premier league hurts.

A reply to a Chelsea fan who posted in their Mourinho thread:

Listen mate, this is a Liverpool FC forum. This particular thread is not about Chelsea. It's about taking the piss out of a once mighty football club that have been providing 3 years worth of non stop entertainment, and with the special c*nt in charge, will likely provide some more.

 Whereas they’ve provided us nearly 3 decades of that. Oh and during those 3 years, they’ve finished below us twice :wenger:

When Klopp joined all they crowed about was how finally they're going to sign WC players that they couldn't because of Rodgers!

But as they continue to sign/get linked with 3rd/4th rate players, the reality has finally sunk in (doubt it though) that even a managerial combo of Jose+Carlo+Pep wouldn't be able to attract WC talents to their relic of a club.

So now they've resorted to this builders-developers crap!

On Real Madrid

Are Real Madrid a better team than Liverpool? Yes
Are Real Madrid a bigger club than Liverpool? Yes
Are Real Madrid a better club than Liverpool? No

3 years of non stop entertainment in which we've finished above them twice and actually won a trophy. Were they entertained when Rooney and Carrick lifted the FA Cup last season?

How do they think they're in any position to mock? :wenger:

But this all the mastermind work of their builder, Klopp. :D

Not RAWK, but in our ballpark at a stretch. Daily Mail article on French tennis player Marion Bartoli & comments underneath include:

Terrible signing. Liverpool should get rid.

I thought it was funny but quite a few didn't. Are RAWK tennis inclined at all?

Reaching the final of the League Cup (Who's sponsoring it now?) only losing to the superior Manchester Club.
In the Europa league knocked out Man Utd, against all odds coming from behind more than once in a pulsating match against Borussia Dortmund, turned round a 1-0 deficit against Villarreal in the semis and winning the first half of the Europa final.

Progress.

5 times.
Yep, 5 times in a row Klopp has lost finals
