Reading vs Manchester United

As long Carrick plays like he did against the Barcodes we should be okay, but still, we've seen what we can be like with out Anderson or Scholesy in our midfield a couple of times already this season. Definately going to be a enrvous game.

On a positive note though, i got a feelin our boy Ronaldos gonna get at least 1 more, maybe a couple...Rooney to score too, he looked hungry for goals against the toon.

Another away game and no Anderson, though he must be injured otherwise he would have been on the bench.

I just hope we cope better without him than we've done recently when playing away from home.
 
Good team. They'll play 5 in midfield, so we may need that man Hargreaves. If Carrick plays like we can, there'll be no problems. Park is an excellent passer, hope he drifts inside as much as he can, intelligent footballer. Surprised there's no Nani, though.

just seen the Reading team and was shocked! They're playing 3 upfront, really and Lita is playing! he never seems to get a game. Interesting game in prospect. Hopefully Hargreaves proves a few people wrong.

I think Hargreaves is a waste of money, he was the laughing stock of the English team up until the WC where he had a couple of decent games. All of a sudden he's worth £18 million and people on here are bumming him and calling him world class etc.

Whenever one or two regulars are missing, you start complaining like a girl.

Carrick and Hargreaves are a damn good pairing, and are capable of coping with Reading's midfield. Remember days when Smiith and Fletcher were starting?

So shut up, and enjoy another convincing performance.
 
Before Anderson arrived Carrick and Hargreaves were going to be our first choice pairing once Scholes retired.

I love seeing Anderson playing but Carrick and Hargreaves are a very good, balanced CM pairing.

He was a laughing stock because most had never seen him play but simply based their opinion on him being german-ised for playing for Bayern. He had a good WC and proved everyone wrong, and rightly so. No one has said he is worth £18m, we just had to pay that amount so Bayern would let us have him. He's a valuable player, you'll see, until then, you should just support him as a united fan instead of telling him to feck off.
 
Andersons performances were slowly slowly slipping, a nice break will do him wonders!!!
 
We've lost points four times so far when playing away from home in the league, and Anderson has only started in one of them, and that was against Arsenal where we actually looked like winning until the last second.

I'm not saying this young fella is the make it or break it for us, but it's rather obvious that he makes a big difference, I was pissed when he was on the bench against Bolton and West Ham - though he must carry some kind of injury today since he's not even on the bench.

Hopefully Hargreaves will prove us all wrong, though it'll probably be a question about whether or not Carrick continues the form from the last game.
