Reading vs. Manchester United

It's good team if it's 433, othervise I don't like it.
 
Decent lineup apart from young. A bit defensive though considering we are playing reading..
 
Player gets a chance. Does well. Keeps his place.
I like Lindegaard. Hope he continues doing well.
 
Really fecking hope Rooney's not on the left.

We really do have some average performing players who seem to just get in the starting line up almost by default these days.

Rio, Young, Carrick and Fletcher have done nothing to deserve being near that team sheet in the past month...although granted one of Carrick and Fletcher probably has to play today...why both I'm not sure. If it means Anderson has to pretend to be a wide player I'm putting my angry hat on
 
Fletcher and carrick has never worked, it screws up carrick's game and Fletcher, I just don't see the point when we have Cleverley on the bench. Other than that good team, pleased to see Anderson starting again.
 
Line-up out and nothing to moan about.....this is no fun! :p

I guess Fergie is saving all the commotion for next week against City. :)
 
Strange team. Young absolutely doesn't deserve to be in there. Also I'd have expected Cleverley instead of either Carrick or Fletcher. Passing might be a bit sluggish without him. Lot of weight on how Anderson and Rooney play today.
 
Excellent day so far, big opportunity to open a small lead at the top of the table. Hope we put in an energetic performance and are not lethargic or in zombie mode.
 
Very intrigued to see what shape/formation we play. Hopefully not a rigid 442 with Fletcher wide right...
 
Chelsea lost. City dropped points.. We better do our job.. especially considering we are playing City next week :nervous:
 
Just a case of how many chances we squander.If we are on our game , can see 1-4
 
Big chance to get a nice 3 point lead going into the derby. Solid team selection apart from Young.

Don't think it's going to be that energetic with Carrick and Fletcher in midfield and Rio in defence.

Loads of pressure on Anderson and Rooney to provide the leg work and move the game at the same time, and they struggled on Wednesday after the first 20 minutes...and that was with Cleverley next to them.

I'd have kept Smalling in instead of Rio too. Evans has been the one leading the back line and Smalling's simply been playing better than Rio since he got himself fit. Rio slows our possession down a LOT as well.

I assume its the diamond with Rooney at the tip and Carrick at the base. Width provided by Young.

I'm gonna go ahead and say 4-1 to United (Rooney, RvP 2x, Anderson)

I'd rather have De gea in goal (no slight on Lindegaard), but other than that I guess it's a good team. Strange to see Fletcher on the wings though, I miss Nani.
 
Ideally we'd win by a fair few to make sure we're still top by GD if we lose next week
