Reading vs. Manchester United

Its a diamond.

Carrick at the base anderson left of central MF, Fletcher slightly rightish. Young at the top with Rooney, Van Persie up top.

Im thinking 4-1 also, however a clean sheet would be preferred in a nice 4-0 victory.

Fine midfield. Not particularly happy with Young starting but I get why he's there. Can't argue with that lineup.

Or he'll play on the right, and be crap.

I think it's a 4-2-3-1

Lindegaard
Rafael-Evans-Rio-Evra
Carrick-Fletcher
Young-Ando-Rooney
RVP

I'm not drunkkkk hehhheheh =.............../ uVited will rulz the wrld tda.

I'm gonna go ahead and say 4-1 to United (Rooney, RvP 2x, Anderson)

I'd rather have De gea in goal (no slight on Lindegaard), but other than that I guess it's a good team. Strange to see Fletcher on the wings though, I miss Nani.

We don't look set up to score loads, though. Two of our more defensively-minded midfielders against Reading is oddly conservative.

Hopefully man, who is on the wings though?

If KM is right with his formation Rooney will be on the left.

Edit - at gbgary

I love the diamond but having Young in the most important position would be fecking horrific.

Could be a diamond with Young on the left, ando on the tip. Young is gonna come inside anyway, not like he really wants to hug the left flank. Or could be a 4231 with Ando given a drifting role on the right/left.

Reckon Fergie will want Rooney playing high though, best way he's gonna get goals is in a more attacking role.

4-2-3-1 would be interesting

It's a decent team. I hope Anderson is used properly and not shunted left. I reckon he could be the key.

"Paul Scholes can tackle but he's just lazy".

Another gem from Paul Parker.

I'd rather its a diamond with Young and RVP up top and Rooney as the attacking pivot... the less Young is on the ball the better. as long as he is just making good runs off the ball and stretching the play, the more useful he will be.

Young in a diamond?

Last two times, when he came on gameplay worsened.

Bloody commentators having a discussion about the best cereals...

Yeah and it wouldn't be that different to how Ando plays in the diamond where he comes in from the right, just that he can start higher up with less need to track back as much as Fletch and Carrick can hold the middle.

Put money on Reading scoring between the 45-60 minute mark.

Good lineup. If Young's starting at the tip of the diamond, lets hope and pray he has a good game.

I reckon it'll be a 4231, with Carrick and Fletcher in CM, Young on one wing, Rooney off Van Persie, and the fat fecker just running around the place. At least that's what I hope.

That actually looks fairly good. You would want Rooney playing fairly narrow on his side, and Young giving a bit more width on his.

Cold December evening after our title rivals screwed up like others have said everything indicates United will drop points.
