I know Madrid have knocked out PSG, Juve and Bayern (you probably couldnt hand pick a tougher run) and they’re closing in on a crazy 3rd in a row but they are beatable, they’ve been borderline awful in La Liga. It’ll be a close game this.
It should be an entertaining final both teams will be looking to attack, let’s hope Ronnie puts 3 past them.

All I know is that even if Pool should lead 5-0 at half time, they are still capable of fecking it up.
I desperately want Madrid to win and for Ronny to be the star of the show,but the Real defence is all over the place and I think Liverpool front 3 will scare them to death .
Liverpool will come out flying against them and play without fear ( god I wish I was talking about United playing like that ). I think it will be a great final because Real will respond the same way I think lots of goals the way a final should be I just hope Real win maybe 3-2 or 4-3.
Let’s hope that some other managers watch and say hey this attacking football is pretty good isn’t it you CAN entertain AND win things !

Madrid this season have been the opposite of arrogant. Been squarely out of the title race in the league and hanging on for dear life at times in the CL. They will be pretty cautious for sure.

Real will mainly sit back wait for counters. Liverpool runs out of steam towards the end so if Real isn't down by 4 goals at half time I feel they will win it late.

For your information, Madrid would go down as one of the best teams (3 CL wins, back to back) regardless of what happens in the final. So, the only team that can go into the history books would be Liverpool with the prospect of Henderson, Karius, Lovren, Klopp stopping that "historic" team. It is the stuff of nightmares.

Won it once and in other one they were 1 point from winning it, thanks to the great Rafa Benitez which was awful and left Madrid 10 points behind Barcelona. Barcelona 3 consecutive Leagues were very easy to win, considering the strongest teams in Spain in that time were Valencia, Sevilla (Atletico de Madrid were almost always playing the UEFA Cup) and shittiest Madrid team ever, that was thrashed by teams like Lyon, Roma, Arsenal, Liverpool 6 years in a row and wasn't even one of the 8 top of the group teams in the competition because they couldn't even get past the Round of 16 in any of that 6 years.
That team has players like Salgado, Heinze, both Lass and Mahmadou Diarra, Gago, De La Red, Parejo, Drenthe, Faubert, Huntelaar, etc. Their star was a crystal Robben that got injured more than Gareth Bale of today.
Its a big difference to win that teams than to win Messi's Barca with Messi, Neymar (bar this year) Suarez, Iniesta, Busquets, Pique, Coutinho, Dembele, Alba, Dani Alves, etc, and vs the best Atletico de Madrid in the history, that played in 2 UCL Finals in 4 years, and didn't got there the other 2 because they were eliminated by Madrid in Semis and Quarterfinals.
Also they only won 2 UCL in 4 seasons (first one they got to the final thanks to the Stanford Bridge Scandal, and in the second one they got the Arsenal and Madrid scandals).
Even with that said, they only won 2 UCL in 4 years, and this Madrid is about to win 4 UCLs in 5 years. The same UCLs Barca has won in all this century.

So that Barca side are far from being the best team ever. Still, they are one of the most dominant teams ever for sure.
Salah looked pants in the last two games. But even if he is on top form in the final, Madrid will tonk them. Yes, Madrid aren't great this season, this is not the same team that spanked Atleti and Juve last season. But they are good enough to beat Karius, Lovren, Alexander-Arnold, Milner and the likes. Unless refs do not help Liverpool on 2-3 crucial occasions again.

Hard to believe that the last time we were in the CL, we played Real Madrid and Rodgers was fielding his second string because it was a waste of energy to think we could stand up to such a team. Now we're in the final against them.
United compete with Liverpool for CL titles and glory, not with Madrid. 3:5 is completely different to 3:12. Sometimes it is necessary to state the obvious.
If Real are described as shaky than what can be said of Liverpool? They just lost 4:2 to Roma. If anything Real is the much better team based on the semi finals, they played a very good Bayern side, Liverpool conceded 6 goals to Roma.
Don't know about you guys, but the idea of Liverpool being in a Champions League final still hasn't properly settled in my head yet.

I am not club "hater". I respect every club. But real and liverpool i really hate. For liverpool explanation is not needed i guess. Their delusion, their hate towards us, their fans, arch rivals etc...
But real represents everything what i hate in football. It is a club who have rule; " if we can't win fairly, then we will cheat. If cheating is not enough, then refs will help us". This is third year in a row when they are in final because of refs help. I can't support that. They are diving all the time. I can't support that. Their behaviour during the game towards ref and oppo players is disgusting. I can't support that. They have dirtiest player on planet, sergio ramos. I can't support team which have him.
So i will not say that i will support liverpool but i will certainly not support real.

Confident Madrid will show why they're a different class during the final. A lot of experience and they have Ronaldo. I hope Liverpool go 2-0 up and Madrid get 3 in the last 10 minutes.
Hope Madrid win but pretty grim when one team has 13 titles and we only have three.
Only way for the cheating and diving to stop is having VAR implemented. It's impossible for a referee to confidently get those decisions right every time. It's also too big of a disadvantage not to be trying to deceive the referee whenever you can. You see pretty much every team take part in this, in one way or another.
Because they are a group of players used to playing these high stakes games where so much is on the line?

Before last night's game I was worried that Liverpool would cruise that second leg and I would be panicking about the final. Not after seeing that. They were lucky to hold on. Going in 5-2 up and then losing the game 4-2 in the second leg is not a professional or mature job. It was nervy for them from the minute Dzeko scored. TAA handball was a definite penalty denied and Roma missed a few good chances. But the main reason I'm confident Madrid will beat them is this - look at the two goals Liverpool scored last night. 1st one Nainggolan gave to them on a plate, 2nd one was a feck up in the air with non existent marking on the second ball. Madrid will not make errors like that. Yes, they can look dodgy at the back but I really don't think they're just as bad as people say. The massive key is Ramos being fit. I can see a professional and sensible performance from Madrid, snuffing out Salah and co for the most part and keeping the ball well (something most of the teams Liverpool have played so far have failed to do). Liverpool will score as they always do but I'm going with 3-1 Madrid. Please, please, please!!

Seriously though, with Pools ability to leak goals like they did yesterday and in the first leg I fully expect Real to put at least 3 past them. Rarely have I seen a team at this level being thát bad at seeing a game out. They were 5-2 up after the first leg and their strategy is, feck off lets attack like we need to score at least 5 goals and leave an insane amount of space at the back. Sure, it's entertaining if you're into kamikaze football, but why would anyone think that's a good idea.
I can't remember a time when Marcelo hasn't gone wandering. His first half performance this week is exactly what you'd expect. Pathetic attempt to defend a cross for Bayern's first and a beautiful piece of play for Madrid's first. He doesn't have the mindset or skillset to man mark someone. He plays with reckless abandon regardless of who he plays against, and as he's established himself as a key player the team have adapted to accommodate that. No reason to expect that to change here when it didn't change against Messi.
