We've got tons of possession, but no idea what to do with it. Rooney could be playing better, as could a few others.
That looked like a push on first glance.
Why are Fellaini and giggs running forward thinking their forwards when the ball is with our defence leaving Rooney and Kagawa to go a lot deeper. Our midfielders should be going deep to pick up the ball, not Rooney and Kagawa.

I've had this discussion with a friend who argued that Rooney and Kagawa should go deeper to collect the ball.
Valencia's ability to only use one foot is so annoying.

Why is Valencia playing so far deep infield? Does he fancy being a third midfielder or something? With that lack of a left peg he wasn't ever gonna do anything even if he actually gets the ball there. And leaving the right flank entirely to Smalling is not exactly a very good idea is it? Even Rafael would struggle to bring the ball up against 2/3 players.
