The bounce got him.

Chicha's so wired for chances that he's occasionally too fired-up...and so misses.

What a miss, hope the rain may have had something to do with it.

We have been shit. Playing the exact same as we have been all season. This Sociedad team are here for the taking, but United are playing their awful lackadaisical style of football. So static, no movement, no running in to massive spaces in front of them, no urgency whatsoever. They look like they don't want to be out there at all, want to just pass the ball about in defense and midfield for 90 minutes. When Rooney is showing up in the defensive midfield position you know we are creating absolutely nothing. Really annoyed. When is Moyes going to sort these players out?

eg playing for the draw.

Good play from Kagawa but you expect Hernandez to put that in. Seemed to almost try to smash it in instead of pass it in like normal.

It's still a pretty big achievement for Sociedad, isn't it?

Although it could explain why they haven't been able to replicate their performances against Lyon against other sides this season.

It is, I agree. Though there is a difference between us and Lyon and it is showing. This is why we should not be so harsh on Lyon, but at the same time singing Real Sociedad's praises because it is misleading. Most of the qualifs end up with an aggregate score of 10-0 over two legs, with the successful team losing all 6 games in the group stages. Lyon are terrible even in the Europa league too, with 5 points from 3 games is terrible, but what do we expect with a team of youngsters, it happens.

Let me guess, it's still Fellainis fault that Hernandez has not done much...

Alright, there was a bobble there, but knee over the ball ffs!

Let's hope we don't pay for that. Expect Hernandez to be pretty motivated now.

Worrying number of quick yellows from the ref...

It's gunna take us going behind before we start playing. Hopefully they score sooner rather than later.

We're so pedestrian. Walking pace doesn't begin to describe it.

Stop dibbling grandad, it's not the nineties anymore. This is exactly the way we have played such games for a decade.

No seriously though...remember when we went to Kiev in 2007-2008? That was meant to be difficult but we were 3 up inside the first half. Played our game and went for the jugular. Rip into them from the off, the top sides in Europe don't just sit back against average opposition.

Hmm

Soft, but seen them given. Foul elsewhere on the pitch.

Tackle on Kagawa there very like the one Fellaini got booked for earlier. I don't think it's a penalty, but it shows what a soft booking Fellaini's was.

Run to the wing, try to cut in but fail, pass it to the fullback, put in a bad cross, waste of time.

repeat until we score.
