Agreed - add in the fact that it necessitated new higher-res textures, whole new series of animations etc, and it was a pretty substantial change.

I found it really boring as well. Had to stop playing it. I really liked Undead Nightmare though, thought that was good.
I thought it was good but a missed opportunity to do something much better with the online aspect.

Game lost a bit of steam during the second act, and during the first act, even though you were controlling John, you never felt like you knew what he was planning. It was just cut scenes after cut scenes in between running errands for various people before John's plan actually was revealed. Maybe playing Witcher 2 the past few days is colouring my opinion here.

I found the 2nd half rather dull. So much so in fact, that I didn't even bother finishing the story until several years later. But the novelty of the setting still made it memorable.
Me too, I enjoyed it for a bit but then it just bored the ass off me. I got the undead because it was cheap, and it was excellent, far better. Proof that if you add zombies to anything it makes it better.

There any chance they might do a remaster just before any sequel comes out, as happened with the Uncharteds? Had a PC last gen and was peeved it never got ported, thought they'd at least be sure to get it on PS4 at some point...
I don't remember that scene with that music at all!? Surprised cause it's great music.
