Ronaldo's attitude

I doubt he'll ever change. Once he scores again maybe he'll be a bit better.

Thats annoying but we needed him back. The rest of his game is so good that we can ignore that little flaw of his. Ronaldo helped to give us something extra in attack but we couldnt take advantage of that.

He WAS fouled from behind, and was right to complain, Riley was carding everyone and their mother so why not card Lampard or whoever it was

His dive was pretty bad though, so bad that he could say he slipped

The dive was terrible.

About arguing with the ref, he certainly wasn't anywhere near being the worst culprit today.

It started towards the end of last season. He basically stops playing - every now and then - and lets the game go on around him, while he stands still, bleating. Inexcusable really.

I hope it's not a sign of a player whose thoughts are elsewhere.

When he was interested he played quite well, mind you.

He'll be happier starting next time. And of course when he scores.

Saying that hes always been like that. As mentioned above, he wont really change.

The yellow he got was wrong but he should have been carded for the dive so it doesn't matter.

Ronaldo didn't say a word and in a subtle manner gestured that he was pushed - why the hell is that a booking?! I've seen players get away with so much worse than that...pathetic. It's awful to see people complaining about his attitude if indeed it was that incident that you're referring too - especially when play had stopped because it was a free kick and the ball had gone off the pitch. Very pinnickity to complain about that.

Fantastic dive, everyone seemed to know it was yet Riley still gave a free kick... maybe we can just consider the yellow card for the dive instead of the backchat.

If there was only one incident I wouldn't have started this thread.

He was the most dynamic player on the pitch after he came on

Rooney was mouthing off to the ref quite often today, he could focused his energy elsewhere. Certainly that's not the first time he has done that, also his rash challenge led directly to Chelsea's goal why dont you make a thread about that

I didn't like it when Hargreaves did something Ronaldo didn't like, and he turned and complained to him, when he could ahve tried to get the ball back (which Park did, then lost it)

If it's only berating the ref that you're worried about, we have a much, much bigger problem in Rooney.

agree with this. There was another incident other than his pathetic dive which was when he passed the ball back to hargreaves (or at least attempted too) and then the chelsea player got the ball in between and he just stated yelling at owen and right after fletche stole the ball and was off to the races and ronaldo couldn't contribute to the attack as quickly enough because he was too busy yelling at hargreaves.

Rooney didn't play well and he needs to shut his fecking trap.

But at least he played to the whistle. Like I said, if a player ignores what's going on around him, just because he's feeling hard done by, it's inexcusable, IMO.

he is a cnut but our cnut, we got to give him our support.

Ronaldo has always been that way, I don't like to see it but what can you do.

I'm not defending Ronaldo, but if you wanted to talk shit about him surely there are some other players that could have threads about them for one reason or another, Ronaldo was very good at times today I thought, he is a somewhat of a brat, but you have to take the bad with the Greatness with him

Deserved the yellow for the dive that happened beforehand. It was absolutely stupid, and what annoys me is the fact that it greatly benefitted us at the time.

At 1 point we lost the ball and he was so busy throwing his arms around he miscontrolled after Park had won it back...

But for me the game vs Wigan last year took the biscuit...given what was at stake they were on the break and instead of getting up and tracking back he decided to just sit on the field in protest.

great player...a cnut though.

I was more bothered by the officials attitude to be honest

Leopard won't change his spots, he's always been like that Ronaldo. Fantastic player but he's a big girl's blouse sometimes.

Wouldn't you agree that this sort of nonsense picked up dramatically, towards the end of last season?

Remember him sitting in his arse in the box, in an offside position (against West Ham, I think) for so long the entire stadium was screaming at him to get up?

He wasn't that bad earlier in the season. Which worries me.

It's after he's been away with Portugal that he's the worst...

He has a problem with Ronaldo, Torres, Febregas and anyone who is possibly more talented and playing better than Rooney. Going by Wayne's performance this season, Pogue could have a problem with half the players in the premier league.

To be fair I find it amazing how anyone can defend Ronaldo after that dive.

I've defended him to my mates saying he may go down easy sometimes but he;s cut out the diving, then falls like a sack of shit. Noone in sight... fecking cheating and as a club it shouldn't be accepted or excused.

You must have made a lot of threads about Ryan Giggs in the past then.
