He looked like our best sub to me, that boy has class, great ball control, awareness, intelligence and vision, as well as desire. Always looking for the ball, he even tackled back. Considering how little time he was given he took his chance to impress. Shame the rest of the team were sitting back on the lead by then. And I reckon if Park hadn't been so selfish in front of goal and fed Rossi (who'd found space) instead then he'd have scored.

Rossi looked so mature on the ball.
I was impressed, quick nifty player...I can see him taking over the scholes role in coming years as scholesy fades.
he's quicker, and faster all he needs is the experience and consiering he'll get to train with Scholesy, I wouldn't be surprised to see him pick up some valuable advice regarding late runs etc. etc. scholesy is the perfect mentor for rossi.

Rossi does have awesome potential, but Park was definitly our best sub. I think Park will feature a lot in our starting 11 this season.
I wasn't that impressed with Park myself, looked a bit like a headless chicken.

Rossi impressed me more than Park. Rossi had some great passes and kept his calm, which is probably hard when you only get around 7 minutes to make an impact. Was unlucky not to get the ball from Park, he would have buried that one.
Park was easily the best sub. Loved the way he turned and left the defenders a couple of times. I can't see him playing anywhere but on the wings.

I hope we get to see Rossi play when we're not lucky enough to be 3-0 up with 8 minutes left, because I doubt that will happen many times this season. The boy's ready for first team action.
Some good touches by him. He's more in the Rooney mould, and if he's going to really break through in the next few years he might need to adjust in to scholesy's position as Rooney hopefully will be here for years.
I've no idea how we can accomodate Rossi and Rooney and Ronaldo in the same team, certainly not with current formation. Maybe if we used the Christmas tree formation, Ronaldo Keane? Fletcher; Rossi Rooney; Ruud.

He looks a very clever player with the desire to get on the end of things. The Italian American reminds me a little of a young Paul Scholes when the ginger prince played as a striker.
He has to hit the weights though or quickly naturally fill out to have any 1st team impact this season.
I still think he would come on quicker if the lad went out on loan at a decent level.

Yep, Rossi did really well with both of his touches of the ball.

Rossi looks like he could play in Scholes' role. I wouldn't worry about the kids. It's a cliche but if they're good enough, they'll break through. Atleast some of them have been loaned out. Shame Rossi hasn't but that could be because Fergie sees him playing first team football at OT in some form or another.

Rossi looked a bit nervous to me, maybe not used to playing against bigger and stronger opponents while park looks livelier but lack understanding with his teamates.
So far they did what they suppose to do and i'm sure they'll be in the first team in no time.

I figure by December, Rossi either sticks or goes on loan. I think SAF is awaiting on Ole's return to full fitness and Saha's health before sending Rossi out for full matches. If those two can return to fitness and remain healthy up to the new year, then SAF may gamble on sending Rossi on loan. But we all know Saha can't stay healthy longer than milk doesn't spoil, it's probably safe to assume that Rossi will stay at OT for the entire season.

I've seen highlights of him cruise controlling his way through the reserves last year, and of course in preseason.
But now, tonight, I saw why everyone is so anxious to see him play at OT now. He will grow into a fantastic player - he looked very much like a young Scholes when he was blooded into the team. You're right, he is the most ready of the reserves, which is amazing considering how recently he arrived and how young he is.

personally i think roo might just as well be the one moved into midfield when rossi is ready to be a first-team regular
