Sky reporting that the Wagner group has agreed to stop the movement towards Moscow?

Well this has ended just as quickly as it begun.

It's always been the most likely scenario.

edit: a truce rather than a stunt

Belarus reporting that a deal has been reached. We'll see whether this is actually true.

Can't see a way back for Prigozhin from starting an armed rebellion. He lays down his arms, he's toast.

EDIT: Prigozhin just confirmed that his troops are going back. Wow.

Considering how hostile Prgozhin has been for months and he's still alive, could this be a plan from Russia to get out of the war pretending it's to do with internal politics rather than their army being slowly defeated?

Ive been thinking something similar. At least an excuse to go to the negotiating table without losing too much face.

I'm not seeing how this helps Putin. If he says there are internal political issues won't that make him look weak? Also Ukraine have already said they will only negotiate if Russia withdraw completely which will also be a huge L for Putin

I don't see how Prigozhin thinks he'll ever be safe anymore, if it wasn't some inner plot with Putin to further damage and clean up the MoD. Putin would never allow him to live happily ever after, after threatening a coup. Not to mention that Wagner cannot exist anymore after today.

I thought this as well, but absolutely no one but Lukashenko looks better. Putin looks weaker than yesterday and Wagner like an absolute joke.
