Finally. Up to now, due to effective Russian Propaganda, Azov despite being one of the most experienced brigades in Ukraines armed forces, has been barred from using US supplies.
Probably it's now okay to do that and was the right thing to not be too closely affiliated with them before. As you said, most of their true Nazis etc are probably dead by now as they slowly transformed into a more regular unit.do you think this was the right decision? Do you think it was propaganda and not reality
I’ve met some of the original founders of Azov.
Absolute pricks. The one good thing to come out of this war is that those nazis mostly got gunned down in Mariupol
We were having a chat about Ukrainian politics and a few of them said they followed something called vanguardism and another unironically said he was an “esoteric hitlerist” whatever the feck that means

https://www.twz.com/land/u-s-army-o...-radar-jet-was-shot-down-with-patriot-missileThe U.S. Army colonel described how Ukrainian Patriot operators staged a “SAMbush” to bring down the A-50 in January of this year.
Based on Col. Clemente’s account, it seems likely that the Patriot system in question was not only being pushed to the limits of its capabilities but was likely being deployed very far forward in an especially bold tactical move.
I'm guessing that noone has opened that article.U.S. Army Officer Confirms Russian A-50 Radar Jet Was Shot Down With Patriot Missile

If they had, there's no way they wouldn't have commented on the author's name![]()
Interesting to see that this apparently is a tactical approach the German Bundeswehr is used to and trained the Ukrainians on while the US had no clue what was going on during that training. Yes, but what surprised me is that US troops apparently were close enough to see this drill happen, but weren't aware of what/why they did it. I would have expected them to be familiar with each others approaches if they are working that closely together. After all both are part of NATO and are expected to fight together if it comes to it.I wouldn't read too much into it.
SAM Ambushes are pretty common tactics, it's just everyone does it slightly differently.
ATACMS might not be very effective against such buildings... naval drones which destroy the foundations of the bridge can do much more severe damage than ATACMS. Besides that Russia has moved a lot of air defense in the area to protect it against ATACMS etc.Not sure how that would protect the bridge itself. Once the Ukrainians figure out a suitable attack path and time, they are no doubt going to hammer it with ATACMS.

https://www.politico.eu/article/rus...overed-say-western-allies-maia-sandu-kremlin/A statement released Thursday by Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States accused Russia of “seeking to undermine Moldovan democratic institutions in the leadup to the October presidential elections and a referendum on Moldova’s EU membership.”
https://edition.cnn.com/2024/06/13/europe/russia-ukraine-mariupol-hunger-war-crime-intl/index.htmlA group of international human rights lawyers has accused Russia of intentionally starving the civilians of Mariupol as a method of warfare during its 85-day siege of the Ukrainian city in early 2022.
cba starting a thread on the knighthoods so this is most relevant here for his ongoing worldwide fight against Putin and his oligarchs. Most deserving name on the list, if you haven't read his books, you should.
Hearing that Ukr is preparing for some major offensive somewhere soon.
Going to need some sauce on this. I'm hearing nothing on my usual chatter.

Its just a rumor. If the Ukrainians do make a move, I can't imagine it would be for a while given that Congress only just released more money and all of that will take time to make its way to the battlefield.
Yeah. I am seeing if anyone else heard this. I heard it on Zeihan's channel. This guy must be bsing but he said it will take a few months.
With which forces?Hearing that Ukr is preparing for some major offensive somewhere soon.

Hm. Actually I read it the other way - that Russia successfully finds ways around the sanctions to get stuff they need. Not a dig onyou @VorZakone . I appreciate your postings. But this seems to me anothe article that tries to tell us that russia can't meake it to the next corner of the war. To add to the Old rusty soviet equipment running out, economoc sanctions not allowing to continue the war, not having enough soldiers, oil cap, etc... it looks the ethernal "we got him" with trump or Biden is very mad at netanyahu
It doesnt seem ever to happen in reality
Eh, that's not how I interpret it at all to be honest. Also, "not having enough soldiers", was that genuinely promoted as a narrative? Russian manpower is often touted as a big advantage but they had so many casualties that in 2022 they needed reinforcements. Not a dig onyou @VorZakone . I appreciate your postings.
