Well, I'd surprised if it was, but that's not the point I'm making. Was just pointing out that 75m is a ridiculous fee for a defender (don't care if it's Maldini).
What kind of point is that, no one said that a club offered 75m for Ramos.

I thought he was a RCB?
It's already been explained several times that the figure (invented by AS) is 75m euros inclusive of DDG and Ramos' potential wages.

Don't know how much truth in this but Real want £20m + De Gea for Ramos after having valued Ramos at £40m. Woody playing hardball and wants a straight swap! If this is true, I am so glad we have someone like Woody who is not getting bogged down and going toe to toe with Real![]()
Is it bad that the main thing I took from that whole video was how shit Valdes was for the header at 3:09?
If there's any truth to this then we're feckin nuts.
Someone should tell Woody that the unlimited funds cheat on Football Manager doesn't apply here.
But how much winding up he'll give back too.Is no one worried that he as the worst record for sendings off in La Liga. Can just imagine the amount of winding up he'll get in the PL.

Where have you read €30m for Ramos? It's €30m + one of the best keepers in the world, which has been valued at a total of €75m (€45m for De Gea).30m isn't too much for Ramos, the interesting part is that like @Insanity pointed out Madrid magically value De Gea at 40m-45m in a swap deal but were apparently only willing to pay 18m-20m without the swap deal, they are taking their fans for idiots.

Obviously right now we wouldn't get €45m for De Gea so we'll have to see what happens.
I suppose but that's a total of about €55 - €65 million, assuming if we sold De Gea as its own transaction we'd get €25-€35m for him. That's what I meant, 30m+ De Gea isn't too much, since De Gea is free next season and seems to only want to join Madrid.

That's too much in my opinion.
We could easily get £20m for De Gea this summer. That's almost €30m.I don't think we would, for the simple reason that Madrid are the only buyer, they will pay what they want to pay or they will wait for next summer. If it was possible to involved an other club, then we would get a lot more. And for Ramos price is around 35m£, in my opinion. I would prefer Otamendi though.
Now this swap deal is more likely pure fantasy and Ramos is going nowhere.

Well considering they reportedly bid £13m (c€18m) and we laughed in their faces, I think €25m at least is easily achievable.Only if Madrid want to pay that.

I think Madrid want De Gea regardless of whether Casillas stays or not. Also, we have Valdes and Lindegaard, so we can take it to the last day of the window if we want, or until we get a good price for Dave! While I agree that it's plausible, I don't think that it will be 'easy'. If Casillas find a club the story will be different, though.
Yeah haha, let the club spend 200 mil then!ITS NOT YOUR MONEY NEVILLE.
Or something like that.
Because assists is not the only measure of a player.
Yeah haha, let the club spend 200 mil then!
Can't understand those ppl (not you obviously) who come up with that. Then why bother with anything? Debt, what we get for players and all that? Actually this way it's not my club either as I don't own anything of it, then why bother at all with United?
Our debt is still relatively high and despite all the money we are making our costs are similarly high. We have also taken the new spending thing to an entirely different level with stuff like paying more than a player's release clause, paying Nani's full wages while seeing him perform for another team having extended his contract already in 2013, paying 60 mil to RM for a player who wasn't needed there anyway and so on. And still ppl want us to continue like that. In a few years before we start realising it we will be in huge trouble if we don't start being more careful!
Not really. If in the end the difference is minimal to get a quality player, no problem. But if it needs a ridiculous fee or wages every time we get a player, then that's not a sign of a well run club. And that's also not a sign of a successful team, you can't have a long term good working club and team when in the end almost everyone is on 200 + k and cost a fortune in fee to convince him to join us / force the selling club to let go the player. The point is, it's not our job as fans to do the accounting. Woodie knows what he is working with, so whether he spends 100 quid or 100 million is his problem
Fans getting worked up over transfer fees is pointless but also symptomatic of people playing too many football simulators!
Playing games with Ramos won't be anywhere as easy as with Özil or Di Maria. The latter two are rather shy, confidence players and not Spanish.
Ramos on the other hand is a Madrid and Spain legend, a smart and confident guy, knows RM and Spanish football/ppl/media inside out and has lots of contacts and influence in the media as well.
In this saga most probably Ramos and not Perez will be the winner.
