If this signing means Rooney further forward spear-heading the attack then I for one will be pleased. As good as Rooney has been the season just gone I still prefer the Rooney from a couple of years ago. He was bloody fantastic then! Reckon the type of player Kagawa is Rooney could blossom even more feeding off Kagawa.

Not to mention, could possibly lead us to not over relying Rooney which we have done at times.

I thought the same. Hernandez would seem the ideal beneficiary of Kagawa's passing.
 
The BBC are usually reliable though, so they must trust some of the german sources.
 
I keep saying his name wrong. Initially misread it as Kawaga and it's stuck for me.

we're are In terrific shape going forward and well stocked in defence with Vidic on his way back too.

Just a centre midfielder now to put the cherry on top.

We always have the same pattern in games when attacking, can't find a way through the middle so we eventually get it wide. Imagine the possibilities with Kagawa :drool:

That is true. We have missed that. Hence we need a central attacking medio or forward. Hazard could have done that and so can Kagawa.
Rooney is not the best in tight situations 30-40 yards away from the opposition's net and out midfield did not have any adventurous and potent players coming forward.

Kagawa seems great, I hope he makes enough runs in to the box and takes positions there. Hoping for more of a Ronaldo than a David Silva sort of player. Ignore the abilities of those two, am talking positionally.
On youtube etc. he looks like a david silva, and looking at his stats, he seems to be a ronaldo.

He definitely seems more of a lampard than a mata, but then thats fine, we have plenty of creators from wide positions already.
