Both made a meaningful contribution to a premier league title though.

Oh do stop winding up Arse supporters, they are hurting...you have to feel for them, all the major signings going elsewhere;)

You've got to be kidding, Kagawa has outshone Goatface for the last two seasons. I watched the Bundesliga on ESPN a fair bit last season, Kagawa was Dortmund's most impressive player, bar maybe Lewandowski.

Goatsey is hyped more a) because he's German. b) because he's younger.
Goetze's the quality act, Kagawa will struggle in the PL like Dzeko and Lewandowski (the poor man's Gomez).

Facts don't seem to be your strong point.

It is a bid odd where Arse fans are concerned; when all else fails resort to the 'bank balance' argument. It's a wonder they don't parade their accountants in an open top bus each year.

Back to Kagawa. Looking forward to seeing him play, sure he'll be agreat asset

Was Kagawa not voted into the European team of the year and also voted Germanys player of the year? (maybe young player?).

There's the flop argument too, which you seem to be ignoring. And you've not seen much of Kagawa, so that's blind faith isn't it?

You haven't followed the Bundeslige at all have you? while Goetze's a real talent, Kagawa has been the main man but feel free to vilify him.Let's see what your mob sign.

A lot of us haven't seen much of kagawa but the reports and video clips are very positive. It's not blind faith...it's just trusting a club that rarely lets you down.

Come on Pete you brought value for money into the argument.Don't backtrack. You really are worried aren't you? City far ahead of you, Chelsea resurgent. That 4th place doesn't look secure

He'd be a much better wum if he actually knew what he was talking about. When he adds £4m to a players price tag and says a player who played 80 plus games in two years hardly played, he's left looking like a fool. Still, if it makes him happy.

He is good for comic value these days.

We don't need a player like Kagawa or a CM or a RB, come to think of it. I'd watch your transfers to plug some holes much more keenly.

What do you think you'll need to bridge the 19 point and 31 goal gap?

Hang on a minute we're third after losing Nasri, Fabregas and Wilshere for the season - imagine you'd lost Nani, Rooney and Carrick (ok I'll give you Vidic).

Will people stop replying to him. He is blatantly WUMming now.

Stick to facts. No one is deserting a sinking ship as nasri and Fabregas and RVP is about to

Enough of both to say that Goetze is the major talent and Kagawa is a decent player but not top drawer.

You still haven't answered the question.

Resist the natural urge to give an attempted smart arse reply, and just tell us how many games you've watched him play in.

Pete's jealous because Wenger, the Japanese football expert, failed to spot this gem of a player.

He's going to be ace, Pete, and you're going to be stuck watching Mr. Miyagi or whatever his name is that was on loan at Bolton last year.
