Shinji Kagawa

Does every thread on this forum have to turn into some Kagawa wank fest? I mean honestly, Kagawa ahead of Rooney.

How reliable is this chap?
He is hated here for basically ridiculing us when we deserve (he was the highest profile journo who predicted us to finish out of top 4 back on August) but I think he is very reliable. He also was the first journo who said that Moyes has lost the dressing room.

God; Kagawa, Mata, RVP, Nani with Klopp in charge. D-d-d-d-dayum.

Not klopp style. He prefers a balance of technicality with high work ethic in his front four.

Dortmund plays a front four of

Aubameyang(kuba) - mkhitaryan(kagawa) - reus(GroBkreutz)
lewandowski

bracket was his team with kagawa. Kloop seems like a manger that understands the importance of squad balance and he might be willing to sacrifice one of either Rooney or van Persie to ascertain that goal. Under klopp, I can see United playing a team along the one below without new addition:

Valencia(Mata/Januzaj) - Mata(kagawa) - Kagawa(Welbeck/Nani)
Van Persie(Welbeck/Rooney)

Doesn't really look like a Klopp team to be honest playing that way. Can't see Valencia ever playing in a Klopp side as the winger there is the opposite of a side-line hugger. Reus cuts in constantly and is supposed to add some goals and assists as he uses two playmakers in the other roles.

Kagawa drifted left a lot, so on the left side we would play a mobile winger(Grosskreutz/Reus) whereas the right side had Götze as a narrow inside right.

So we would most likely line up like this:

---------------Kagawa------------
-----Mata-------------------Winger
---------------Striker-------------

That is basically more of an iteration of a 4-2-3-1, than a 4-3-3.

I'm now filled with hope that we possibly, just possibly, will get to see the best of Kagawa at Old Trafford.

Exciting prospect really.

I thought Mata in the center and Kagawa on the left, drifting inside to make room for Evra out wide, looked quite promising a few times this season. I think we should keep going with that approach and with a better manager and more time on the field together this partnership could be absolute quality.

Klopp isn't going anywhere do you not pay attention?

Did you not pay attention to my sentence, or is it too complexed?

I said, if. At the end of the day, he's third favourite for the next United manager for a reason. Plenty of players/managers have said they're happy with their clubs then leave.

Sorry, was a little prickly with that statement.

However he has literally categorically said he's not coming. He's only third favourite so bookies can make some money.

Well, to be honest, I've just heard on SSN that he's not long reiterated that he's committed to Dortmund so I guess it's a bit of a far cry.

Who do you think we'll get in?

I think it's fairly safe he's finishing second.

I think we might know more at the end of the season. Managers currently in roles aren't likely to step up (bar those we know are leaving, like LvG) until the season is over IMHO. What people say in public and what people are actually doing behind the scenes do not necessarily marry up.

Cup final mate. He's got that to lie for. Can't deflate his team. Still don't think he will come on that 5 year contract.

I agree it's unlikely, but I don't think it's as cut and dried a "no" as some people seem to think it is.

Oh yeah?! Then how come Rio is subscribing to him?! Surely that's a sign of quality humor!:D
Oh Lord, Rio subsribing to someone makes that account funny now.

He has his moments and I actually laughed at it several times but most of the times he is boring.

Those tweets are shittier than Mad Winger's posts.

"Limerickcitykid"... I remember that username because it's so weird.

I used to think that it would be helpful if we were allowed to give other users our own personal tags, so that everytime they post something, I could be warned in advance that this is a shit user. But I've just realized that it's not necessary, because it's the same 5-10 posters over and over again. I've started to remember you guys now:D

At last Shinji will be free! That makes me happy, love him, think he is a potentially cracking player.

So he apparently brought guests back during the Dubai trip and was late for the Munich airport. Doesn't really sound like a model professional.

I know a girl whom he's quite "friendly" with and from the messages/pictures she's shown me, this is no surprise.

He's not the only player at Old Trafford behaving like this either, mind...
