This isn't a knee-jerk thread. No other United manager survived not qualifying for the CL in his first full season post-Fergie.

It's a distinct possibility now. Should he stay or go if it happens?

We need a poll.

Yes

No, who would you get in?

Yes and it’s not even like we’re playing much better football than before

He should only get the sack if he sanctions a renewal of De Gea's contract.

No. But if it happens again next year then yes.

He was hamstrung but not being allowed to sign a striker

No, but he is putting himself under serious pressure for the start of next season.

No but if we continue the poor form into next season he'll have to go.

If we fail to qualify for the CL it’d be a a very non-committal, “eh”, from me.

I think he’s shown some good traits but way too many glaring tactical issues that struggle to suggest he’s some sort of football tactical Einstein that must get more time.

No, but it will be a massive kick in the balls

Well of course this isn't a knee jerk thread seeing as it was made on Aug 1st. /s

I’m starting to think he’s not that great. The team is mentally weak, and we have been poor for large parts of the season. He won’t get sacked but I’m at the point of thinking he’s not the man for us.

No. Played most of the season without a proper striker. If this happens again next season with a half-decent fit no 9, then its a different discussion.

No, but serious questions about him have to be asked. He persist with stupid players like De Gea and Weghorst.

Does it matter one bit now that Arteta lost out on top 4 last season because 1 or 2 games didn't go Arsenal's way? Does it matter 12 months later that Spurs finished on 71 points and Arsenal finished on 69?

Let's say Liverpool finish on 71 points. There are loads of you that would continue with ten Hag if we get 72 points, but sack him if we only get 70.

Incredibly flawed way of thinking.

No. Come on. Playing without a striker all season, it's a wonder we are in the top 6

Ridiculous thread but to answer - obviously not. There are players at that club years that have consistently let the club down that need to be f*cked off. Ten Hag needs a few years, like Arteta at Arsenal.

No, but all posters calling for Ten Hag to be sacked should be sacked from the Caf.
