Should Wenger be sacked?

Should Arsenal sack Wenger

Although I am intrigued by the idea of seeing him at another club, my first choice is still that he should remain and lay waste to his enemies (or at least drive Piers Morgan to apoplexy.)

As long as he doesn't end up in PSG it's all good.

Because it's Kroenke who decides, as he is our major shareholder. Usmanov can do nothing.

However, our line up could be this one next season:

Butland

Bellerin Koscielny Mustafi Gaya

Xhaka new CM

Walcott Barkley Iwobi

Lacazette

I think it'll be this if Wenger buys.

Butland/Cech

Bellerin Kos Mustafi Telles?

Xhaka Ramsey/Cazorla/Ox

Walcott Isco Iwobi/Ox

Lacazette/Perez/Donkey/Jonas/Icardi/Immobile?

Speaking on Tuesday ahead of the midweek meeting with West Ham, Wenger says that his previous record of qualification has been taken for granted.

“For 20 years I have done it and it looked nothing,” he said. “Now people realise it is not as easy as it looked.

“Guardiola said to achieve top four is a trophy.

“We have many games in April, we need everybody on board. We need the support of our fans in games.

“We play as well in the semi-final of the FA Cup, it’s all to go for. It’s a good opportunity to show we are united.”

I wish we had something like this. It would be quite a good line-up. But Wenger would really have to splash the cash on many players, not just on one.

ARSENAL fans mounted their biggest ever protest against Arsene Wenger ahead of their Premier League clash with Manchester City. Up to 1,000 fans marched on the Emirates just before kick-off calling for the Frenchman to leave the club at the end of the season.

Arsenal are not getting top 4. They need to rebuild the squad again as half the team is out of contract in 2018. Arsenal are not going to challange for PL under any new manager next season. They need to spend money on young cheap players to build the team like Dortmund. Is there any other manager better at squad building at Wenger?

The Wenger-In brigade hold their own parade:

He treats Arsenal fans like they are fools.
I find it annoying the way he keeps insulting their intelligence.
Last week he was on about fans wanting him out only because pundits says so on TV. He treats them with contempt.

I think thats because,he has same view of Arsenal fans as those on Arsenal board. If i would put my tin foil hat on,think Wenger and those money grabbing whores on the board are in some shady deal, where they all gain, only fans lose.

That's a clear sign of a person who thinks to be bigger than the club. It happens when you stay for too long in the same place and have too much power.

It's a comfy arrangement for both board and Wenger. The board are happy for Wenger to take the flak for all their shortcomings and happy to have a manager that doesn't demand much.
Wenger is happy to have a job for as long as he likes even with heat from fans, he's happy to manager with no pressure whatsoever. Its a brilliant strategy for them. it also adds to the divide and conquer strategy because fans can't agree on who's to blame.

He thinks he's the club. I was flabbergasted about his comment about Arsenal not playing in the CL before he came. He topped that with his comments about club staff and share prices. He genuinely believes, he has the right to go on fo as long as he likes.

This is a photo from my mate at Akhisarspor vs Medipol Basaksehir just now. It's the Turkish Cup ahaha.

Still surprised you never went for Lacazette two summers ago when he came off the back of a bad season. Think it was the summer you was chasing Suarez and you was crying out for a striker, he'd of been a great buy for a relatively good fee.

They are significantly wealthier than Dortmund. They should be selling those that wont help them compete, and signing some that will.

There is a big march/sort of movement against our president today, across the country.

These "Wenger out" signs, never gets old. I've now seen them at Ultra music festival, today's march, at the NFL and apparently there was one at Wrestlemania as well.

Players have definitely had enough of Wenger I think.

Never a Plan B, the same tiki taka crappa fancy passing football with no end product, no leaders on the pitch, no in-game management, no courage, no balls, no steel, no clue.

Yesterday's manager in a job he shouldn't be near. How people say Wenger will go to Barca next?!

Not a chance.

The way Arsenal are playing right now is a bit like the way Leicester were playing just before Ranieri got the boot, and they miraculously remembered how to play football again. It won't happen, but I'd bet if Wenger was sacked and Steve Bould got the job (ala Craig Shakespeare), they'd suddenly start winning matches.

I'm sure it's been said before, but a new manager is needed if only for the fact that the team needs to be looked at with a fresh pair of eyes. Arsene's achievements are many, and fantastic, but it's time for him to go.

Just read that they're closer to Palace in 16th than they are to Chelsea.

I think he's a top manager, but evidently his players don't. There's no coming back from that. He's got to go.

Hands up, I got the Wenger and Ranieri question badly, badly wrong

I also think Mourinho will come good for us :nervous:

He'll be talking about too much football on TV next game.

Incredible arrogance from him recently.

It's been like that for a while now. He's comments show either complete delusion or utter arrogance. It's shocking that the Arsenal board don't step in.

Long may it continue. Give him a lifetime contract, I say.
