Two wingers please. Ronaldo and Giggs would get my vote, i'd go for Giggs' Euro experience over Park, plus his added goal threat. I'd like to see Saha invoved in that game in some capacity. He could really unsettle their defence, and we're not going there to draw.

It's a big call for Fergie to make. It's either this or 4-4-2.
Fergie said Ryan would have to play on our big European night - that means 4-4-2, but Fergie would never want to give away tactics in advance. Probably bluffing and the above formation I reckon. I also reckon Fergie wouldn't trust Smith in there on his own in European competition. Only problem is, i'll be screaming at Fletch again the whole match :)

Nothing new though. Happens almost every week with eitherGiggs, Ronaldo, Scholes, Rio, Fletch, Smith, Wes, O'Shea and so on... This list is almost endless

people are giving the lad a hard time! :mad: ffs he's been very good for the limited chances he's been given and he's always an effective player compared to someone like fletcher. When fletch has a poor game in terms of passing, he doesn't really contribute much; but Park gives us class movement off the ball and has pace on it - a great buy. :devil:

I not sure but I think Liverpool is without country protection in Champions League. That´s why they can be in the same group as Chelsea.

That's right. Liverpool can be drawn against another English team at any stage of the competition.

In this game we need seasoned campaigners like Giggs to play.
 
We just need a draw to qualify as long as somebody wins the game in Spain, if Lille score another goal to nick that game, we'd qualify with a 0-0 draw. :nervous:
 
I think its going to be a 2-0 United too. Scholes again and possibly either Giggs or Ruud.

(I won £190 on saturday on predicting 3-0 United and Scholes 1st scorer 38-1)!
