Happy to see Valencia and Fletcher back. If they rediscover their form, Fergie's gonna have big selection problems from now on. Ashley Young's omission is a bit disappointing. He's waited so long to play in the Champions League and it seems like he's gonna wait a bit longer.

At least last year, when we played Scholes with Carrick and Fletcher, it was usually Fletcher who ended up going forward the most, which seemed a bit of a misappropriation of his skill, which isn't shooting.
If Giggs or Park play in the hole I'll be overjoyed.
What does Berbatov have to do to start for the club ? It might be one of the first times in history that the best goalscorer of the past season gets so little playing time the following one.

This looks like the hardest match in the CL group stage, so I guess that's why we've gone with Rooney upfront. But if we're not careful we're going to push Berba's limits, he seems to be fine being a squad striker at the moment but surely it's got to be within reason.

I'd be disappointed if Berba isn't quite pissed off. Surely he must have asked questions by now. Not playing him for big games is understandable but Berba wouldn't be out of his depth here.

Good lineup, not the most exciting but very good anyway. I would have had liked to see either Nani or Young in there but Park and Valencia both need games so it's an understandable decision.
