I don't think a player goes on the pitch and thinks " I can not be arsed today" but sometimes it does look that way.

I would like to see our team give everything they have, if that turns out not to be enough, I can live with that, whatever the score, but if they look as if they are just going through the motions, they should find another club, for a match like this it should not need anyone to motivate them, they should be able to do it for themselves, if they cant, they are at the wrong club.

Wrong tactics, wrong formation, wrong shirts, wrong manager, none of these reasons or excuses stop you giving 100% effort.

Sure we have players who are not good enough, being played out of position, getting too old, but that is no excuse for lack of effort and commitment.

If we go down a goal, I can easily see the shoulders dropping. That is a confidence issue and not a motivation problem, something which we have seen a lot of this season. The players always go out to win. They may not be good enough but I refuse to believe they will half-arse their way through a match. Confidence is at an all time low and the manager needs to earn his bread by trying to improve the morale of the team. So far, I have not seen anything to suggest Moyes can do that.
