While all our other post-Fergie appointments have gotten themselves decent gigs; I never see this happening for Ole, as he's not good enough. Pretending his spell was anything less than a failure is hilarious tbh. Just admit that he failed, like Jose, LvG and Moyes, and move on.

The facts are from a distance we don’t know who does what beyond the pitch so instead of whataboutism let’s talk about something we all saw, which was the likes of Maguire & Shaw delivering some of the worst on field performances throughout the whole of OgSs reign.
It’s getting tiresome hearing posters have more opinions on things that occur behind closed doors than on the pitch, the squad is rotten so singling out players you’ve chosen not to like & making arguments based on thin air isn’t particularly discussion in good faith.
Pogba was part of Solskjær’s ‘small, settled squad’ so that argument makes no sense. OgS was found out, so have many players been.

He is. Will always he remembered for the player he was. He didn't hire himself. Liverpool had the good sense to sack Daglish and he's still their greatest ever player.
For me it is not just that he did awful job. It is the fact that he was prepared to relegate us and still he would not resign. He was prepared to do everything just to prolong his time here (and get money for sacking). How many times we heard "Ole loves the club" , "Ole will resign if things go south" etc...what a bs.
Of course that was BS, you have to be naive to think that. Him and his family are set up for life now, doesnt need to work anymore. He did well though in making people believe that with his United talk every week. He loves United, but not that much. At the end, he just milked it as far as he could to save his job/payment, knowing well he was out of his depth and wont get to manage in the PL again, nevermind a top club.

The failed Cardiff manager is also a United legend. If any of our players from the last nine years (not including Fergie players like Rooney, Rio, Vidic) even contribute(d) some of what Ole has done they would have been much more successful.

They get hate on by almost the same subsection of United fans online but in general I don’t think anyone hates them. Ole is a former player, who both scored a ton of goals and that one goal which won us the treble(Thats the reason for the banner).
Also it’s completely possible to still like someone even if they have failed at the club(It seems to be only a small section of United fans who take Ole failure as both a attack on the club and their own personal life).
Imagine Newcastle fans hating shearer because he got them relegated while as manager. It would be rightly be seen as very odd by everyone.

Come on don’t be ridiculous. Prepared to relegate us, we were nowhere near that at all. Resign, no manager resigns any more, you can’t expect Solskjaer to. Mourinho hasn’t resigned from the 3-4 clubs he’s left in ruin.
Also what was the point of him resigning? To get Rangnick a month earlier? To finish 6th anyway?
