Southampton - Manchester United

as if that would define a good midfielder! just because he's a battler doesnt mean he's a good midfielder! silvestre is fast and a good header, does that mean he's a good striker???

He surelly is better in midfiled than upfront. I don't mean playing him as a defensive midfielder, just a withdrawn striker - first defender upfront, applying pressure on the opponent's counter-attacks.

he's a striker, not more, not less, and he should play there. he played several times as a midfielder upfront, but played way better as a striker, for example at the beginning of the campaign, he was one of our best players and scored a lot of goals!

Wonder if Kieron will see some first team action next season....

if he's "on standby" for England there's no reason why he couldn't play for United

that really must be the last game for carroll! shocking bad today! would really prefer howard

I wonder what the odds were on WBA staying up at Christmas :wenger:

Anyone think we should take Richardson back? Or will we sell him to West Brom?

keep him for next seaon and see how he does

He a different player apparently and is on stand by for england usa game

Can't believe how nervous I am for a team I don't even support, all because Robbo is in charge.

Would love to see Saha get a goal, the faster he gets it the faster he can put the injuries behind.

Must be loads of pictures of Saints fans blubbing on the telly by now....

He isn't a pure striker, and he sure as hell isn't a midfielder.

Truth be told, he is the odd man out up front for United.
