Southampton v Manchester United

True. And a fortunate deflection set up Owen otherwise that cross is going straight to the keeper. Fluke yet a spastic jumps right on it in a bit to make oneself look good I suppose and take the high road.

You've changed my mind. He has been outstanding.

What's with the Ronaldo love today?

Never since I have started watching football did I ever think I would see Owen-Giggs-Scholes in central midfield.

"United were terrible and are now leading" - what an asshole this announcer is.

He's really been laying it on thick. Now having a go that Ferguson will be "berating that fourth official" to "call it quits dead on the 90".

He's audibly crushed that United are leading.

When he was talking about dreams of the upset, I think he was talking even more about himself than the Southampton players!

The entire set-up was strange. Looked like SAF was just trying to fit those players who needed match practice into the starting XI.

He could have done that though by playing Owen up front with Hernandez, Obertan on the right wing, and Anderson in the middle/left because Fabio was basically a left winger anyway. In my own opinion, the shape of the team would have been so much better. Watching a goalscorer like Owen in midfield whilst Obertan is up front completely baffles me.

Yeah, it's nothing new though, we did it against Scunthorpe as well and I remember the cup fixture against Barnsley where Rafael played in central midfield.
