I want to die.

:lol::lol::lol:

I love Piers, he's such an adorable little man

Didn't deserve it...feel sorry for Soton. RVP is the new King of Manchester...but feck me this isn't going to work everytime.

chill out. Its our 3rd game of the season. FFS. 2 wins, 6 points, RVP, settled. Move on.

Our subs worked. All of them improved our game. Hernandez was lively the last 10 minutes. Did everything right with the ball.

Robin van Persie the obvious star of the match.

Hopefully our defense will start to glue up the cracks in the next matches.

Shocking performance but I had no idea what to feel. From being livid at Van Persie to loving him again

Unfeckingbelievable. Didn't play well at all but fantastic spirit, as always. We found a way and that's the important thing. Van Persie is on another level. This should at least give us a bit of a boost going forward.

Is this guy Lambert as good as Messi.. the commentators are saying he would have saved both goals..

One of those great United comebacks, but only papers over the cracks.

What? We really have some miserable fans.

We say our players are becoming complacent ... far from it, the fans are far more so, with this 'expectancy' culture.

Very lucky win.

RvP saved our ass today hope he keeps that up because I think we will need his arse saving a few more times this season.

Respect to Southampton who put up a great fight and dominated us at will over long periods of the game.

That being said I'm still angry about how shit we were, how we let them just walk through our lines, how many easy balls we lost when going forward and our total lack of a fighting spirit apart from the last 10 minutes or so.

Just signed in to say I had I follow this thread for updates.

Most of you are acting like utter twats.

Thankfully Rvp wasn't (for the most part)

We looked far better once the first two subs were made.

At 38 years old Scholes is still our best CM.

Sir Matt Le Tiss is quality looking forward to his summary. But hey we are so poor in midfield its glaring.

Classic United.

We we're absolute gash for almost the entirety of that match, and still we pull it off. fecking RVP

If Fergie will keep dropping players based on bad games, I wonder if we can field 11 players in the next game

I really don't know how we pulled out the win there. We only played decently for 20minutes of the whole match. Plenty of things for us to work on from this game. Scholes and nani played well when they came on and helped get us back into it. Chicha showed some good touches as well which was promising. Great header from RVP for the winner as well.

Not often we deserved to lose because we normally put in a decent shift, but feck me today we we stole that victory.

Well he actually played in the middle. Clev spent most the game way out of position. Disappointing from him. Still if ever a game to sum up united with fergie it was this, dramatic and doing it the hard way.

Well, imagine that we didn't sign that Dutch bloke. Good job I got Robin Van Persie United Legend tattooed on my cock...something's are never in doubt.

Someone need to address our lack of creativity and sense of urgency.
We were to slow once we got the ball, allowing opponents to retreat and shape up.
It's frightening to think that we still need to depend on Scholes to open up space
