I'm sure Private Pyle, northroad1878, devilish, and many more are already composing their rants about how this proves we've been on the decline ever since we won the European Cup Winner's Cup in 1991.
 
It is sad if United would lose against Southend, especially if you look how our squad players perform.

But after all it is the Carling Cup, so I dont give a feck if we lose. It would even give our players a break during midweek
 
It's got shades of Copenhagen about it, credit to Southend though for how they're going about the game. Praise to Kieran and Ronnie for their effort but i wish they and the team weren't playing so narrow.

I hate that logic.

You play for whatever you can win.

Remember, if we pull it out today, then we're a win away from the semis.

You can't just brush things off, although obviously my reaction at going out here would be the least painful of all exits.

I doubt anyone would be happy if we lose tonight. That's no logic.

But after all it's the Carling Cup, and not the Champions League, so I still would be able to sleep tonight
