Ah yes, he conceded a penalty for us in some semi-final replay a while back too. Cost us the match if I remember correctly. ;)

I just hope that the disappointment against Real hasn't left too many marks. I think it will be a difficult game, and it's away...

He also said regarding O'Shea "I wouldnt be afraid to play him in centre-midfield on Sunday against Tottenham. He would do well."</strong><hr></blockquote>
That surprises me about O'Shea, I thought he'd be the first to be rested as he's been struggling with an injury, and has played an awful lot of games for a young player - but it would be good to see that midfield experiment tried sometime again so we can really gauge it rather than guess. I think we'll see Veron in midfield and Scholes and maybe Ole up front, with Beckham back on the right and Ruud rested.

This is no time to be resting anyone. We have three matches left and we need to win them all. We also have 6 and 8 days between matches.

No no, you got it all wrong, the idea is never to quote anyone, so that we're all left wondering just who you're laughing with/at. ;)

i don't know what i would do if you were anything but  .

Carroll
Brown
Ferdy
Mickey
Big John
Giggs
keane
scholes
becks
ole
ruud

btw Veron and Butt both injured
Barthez doesnt make the subs bench

as i said in another thread, brave decision by Fergie IF bart isnt injured. Especially with only 3 matches left.
Still im confident young roy will be more than competent

I like that lineup. :)

I see Ricardo lost the battle for No. 2 again. Had expected to see Gary play, but I'm happy to see Brown get some more experience in that position. And its 4-4-2. :D

wish he'd make his mind up about the no2 spot..
cant be good for either of them.
perhaps he thinks Carrolls extra height might come in handy for this one, especially late on when spurs chuck big Gary Doherty on

prob not fit enough to play a PL match.
was worth a gamble in the CL but he's prob not up to playing twice in a week at the mo..

I like the look of that team. Highlights our lack of sufficient goalkeeper cover imo.

I wonder if Ricardo's mistake on Saturday (and the ones before) have put him out of the picture? Wouldnt be the first time he's ditched a keeper soon after signing him.

Worried about the lack of defensive cover from midfield. Still, they may be too worried about attacking for fear of letting our's in!! :D

Even if he was fit I wouldnt play him.

Up to the keeper's to earn it, if they keep fecking up their chances then its their own fault. Generally though Roy has played the PL games and Ricardo has backed up in the CL.

I reckon our whole keeping set-up is a shambles, dont want to be lchk-like but it needs a major revamp. ;)

Neil, is Steele good enough to be 3rdchoice next season?

I predicted a 0-8 victory for PSV yesterday. It became 1-6.
What shall I say today for MU?

If you think those two are bad you should see the other reserve ones! <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> We should kick some of them out and move Steele up to the reserves, he's in the U19's at the mo. Kids should step up to the reserves first really.

I've no problems with Carroll, as I've shown before his record is comparable with Barthez in terms of goals conceded and clean sheets.
