It certainly did.
This is when Fergie really earns his money - we look to me like we're choking on the nerves again, too hesistant - taking another touch or making another pass when we should just be confident enough to shoot. Subs ain't gonna change this, but a good team talk might.

Not the first game we've tried to do that, remember Alex commenting about it after a game before - I'm sure he'll have seen the same as us.

Nope. I'd bring Gary Neville on for Wes, put Giggs back out left, and move Ole up front.

Maybe, but as long as their nerves are settled too.

Ole needs to be more selfish, he is always looking to assist ruud.

That's what comes of not playing up front - you lose confidence in some things.

I think we've seen the end of his days as an out and out striker.

Becks is in the middle, and Wes is hardly doing his (becks') job on the right wing.
And, well, nobody is on the left wing, as seen when ole had the ball near the wing waited for someone to overlap, and noone came.

Thats it, same old story, everyone central. Notice also that Spurs are defending very centrally too, which is why we're having to pass around their box - we should utilise the wings more and stretch 'em out.

You've been playing CM..for far too long.![]()
We've created and threatened.... we just need to be patient.

It's too patient IMO.

Never played it actually.![]()
We do need to be patient, yet a bit more direct in our play - I'm sure though as soon as we score the confidence will come straight back and we'll get more.
