United must lose this game. If they do, as things stand, it will mean Spurs can lose at Highbury and still get 4th if we beat Bolton (h) and West Ham (a).

VDS
GAZ--RIO--VIDIC--SILVESTRE
PARK--OSHEA--FLETCHER--GIGGS
RUUD--SAHA

Rooney needs a rest, and Ronnie needs a rocket up the arse. with the title all but gone, fergie won't be afraid to change it up a bit.
Dont forget, ruud/louis artnership looked productive originally, so could be exciting to watch.

If liverpool lose tomorrow i wouldn't mind giving the three points to our dear londoners.

Tough one to call this, spurs will have more motivation and will probably be 3-0 up by half time which would be an impossible deficit to claw back.

0:2

Lennon 89' og.
Carrick 90' og.

They will do the favour to their next employer.

The only problem with that is then we have to clap the rentboys onto the pitch.

If Arsenal win their remaining four games, a defeat to or a draw with United would cost us 4th spot. We would finish on 67 or 68 points if we won our other games. They would finish on 69.

If we lose to United and draw at Highbury, two wins from our final two games would give us 68 points while Arsenal could only get 67.

If we lose to United and beat Arsenal, we would need one more win.

If we draw with United and Arsenal, we would still need to win the last two games since Arsenal have superior goal difference.

If we beat United, a defeat at Arsenal would leave us having to win the last two games. But a point would leave us needing only one more win.

If we beat United and Arsenal, we would win 4th spot at Highbury.

Not certain of the schedule here, is the Arsenal v Spurs game the last ever at Highbury?

No. Arse play Wigan at home last game of the season.

Too bad, if it was and Spurs actually won, I think I'd die of laughter.

If Spurs beat United, Arsenal lose at home to Villareal, and then Spurs beat Arsenal to secure 4th place and almost certain CL football at their expense, it would probably be the best week ever.

I'd make a slight alteration to the first part of that equation. Other than that, you're welcome.

Just see it as a small sacrifice for the greater good.

Remember when Spurs fans cheered on United when they scored against Spurs to win the league at Arsenal's expense?

It's time to return the favour.

I'd take the three points anyday but at least there will come something good out of it if we lose on monday...
