I thought our defence was sound an all. But the problems in midfield is still there.
Very true but for me i thought the foul on evra was 50/50 and the handball would have been harsh imo.
Im just glad we got the result. Stoke played awful with the exception of tuncay strike and deserved to lose.
think we all should thank Paul scholes with his little flick header to evra which lead to the goal. He did make a huge mistake moments before TUncay's strike but all in all he had a good game.

O'shea and Carrick seem to be sleep walking hitting easy passes stray - definitely relaxing a bit too much.

That fan is a legend getting right in the celebration with the players.
Great performances from Hernandez, Rio, Vidic and Evra. Almost shot ourselves in the foot again and the second half performance was lacklustre, but we desperately needed an away win and we got one.
That was more like it. Stoke never really troubled. So fecking glad to have our Orange back. The guy was class and should start from now on.

But honestly something needs to be done about our passing. Scholes, Fletcher and Carrick just keep on giving it away. Anderson is often slated for his passing but the amount of wayward passes by our other 3 midfielders is shocking right now.

Yep. It was depressing to see some of the stuff we play in our midfield.
Perhaps it was just because we realise that he left the club with dignity and respected our traditions, that's especially apparent after the last week.

Great win, fantastic from Hernandez but what the feck was John O'Shite doing today? jesus christ he couldn't pass the ball 3 yards kept giving it away time after time after time, one of the worst displays ive ever seen in a passing sense.
For the last time Ozil only wanted to go to Madrid, Van Der Vaart we missed out on but to be honest it would have been a risk to get him + i think SAF has his heart set on Snijder

Exactly, plus he's probably the best player to wear the shirt since the Busby years. Stupid to question that, it's been sung at aways for the best part of a year now anyway. He's shown respect for the club since leaving and never hid his intentions while he was here, contrasting with Tevez who tried to brand himself as a loyal martyr, constantly slagging us off in the process.
Anyway, back on topic, great win and good performance.
The only proviso I'd have is that I'd prefer us to sing something else when we're under the kosh, we can go through the full repertoire when we've got a two goal cushion!
