RvP and Rooney are more versatile than conventional strikers. They can ge good crosses in and I'm sure whatever they offer will be better than what the wingers have been serving up of late.

I am guessing it is a diamond. Valencia Kagawa on either side of it and Rooney at the tip and Carrick sitting deep.
That shouldn't mean he's not seen for weeks though as Valencia has been shocking since September.
It's his first full injury free season, he had a very busy winter schedule. It'll do him no harm resting him. If he's fatiuged it's easier to get injured and its best to keep his form and confidence up than let the press get on him.
