Summer is here and just like last year we are creating a Tweets section that automatically posts tweets only so people don't have to wade through endless comments.

The tweets you post in this thread will be for discussion and will automatically propagate to the tweets only thread that indicates how many new tweets were posted since your last visit.

https://www.redcafe.net/transfer-tweets/

As usual, please don't post anything from clear BS accounts, click bait tabloid accounts, or obvious aggregator sites (Utdreport etc) who know feck all.

Tweets from actual journalists who work for well known media outlets are always best. (Examples - Di Marzio, Mitten, Ogden, Mathieson, Marcotti, Jackson, Ducker etc)

Last year's blacklist still applies and we will add or subtract new accounts to the below list as appropriate.

Twitter Blacklist (outside of the obvious ones like indykaila etc)

Daily Express
Daily Star
alaidi
BFairthorne
Fergie1975
HenriqueAlvero
Kevin Palmer
LawTop20 (for transfers)
MardiAgent
mattdaviesmcr
Metro
SwoopTransfer
TimPearsonMedia
TommySmythESPN (does work for ESPN, but ignore anything he says transfer related)
TomMcDermott
TransferBible
TransferSources (if no attribution)
Utdreport/Utdlatest (they know feck all)
VRodriguezlaw
The Sun
The Mirror

No more than three tweets per post.

No joke/piss take tweets

If you post a non-English tweet please include a basic translation or summary in English.

If there are any questions or comments regarding blacklisted journos, please address them in the Admin/Mod Help forum .

Vestergaard to Gladbach it seems. Good signing I think.

Will we get notifications for tweets only like previous seasons?

EDIT: Sorry it says so in the OP.

Can we have some kind of filter for those of us who only want to see United related tweets?

Could care less who Liverpool, Arsenal or Dortmund are trying to sign

Can you explain the rational between allowing the likes of Jamie Jackson who's track record is appalling but banning the likes of the Daily Express?

I appreciate that the Guardian is a more reputable outlet than the Express, but I can't recall Jamie Jackson breaking a story or being correct with anything that he comes up with on his own.

Its not about "breaking a story", its whether or not someone is a legitimate journo who does things like attend United pressers, is dedicated to covering United, etc. Naturally this isn't the only criteria since Di Marzio and others are excellent journalists. We want to eliminate the BS tabloid/clickbait stuff that is generally unsourced (or sometimes invented out of thin air for clicks) and keep things to actual journos.

He signed an extension last year if
I'm not wrong.

Yeah he looks he signed a deal until 2017, if so good bit of business for Dortmund as always. They are getting solid money for a player who is likely not going to play for another 6 months and only has a year left on his deal.

Is Hummels not a bit shit anyway? Is he definitely going to start for Bayern?
I imagine he would definitely start for that fee. He's overrated but then so is pretty much every marginally talented centre-back in the game at the moment.

Just out of curiousity, why would we be keeping in touch with Barca regarding Marquinihos?

Just the way it's worded probably. Most likely it means both clubs have contacted his people separately.

Celta wants Vietto for their European project

Zidane would like Gameiro to be an alternative for the BBC. I think that Barça is also interested
