Need to start playing well.

If Rio is not fit then we're fecked again.

them at home and in a relegation battle ..
will they sit back or attack ..
either way , it isnt going to be easy .. they play well at home

Flipping hell, I don't know if I'm excited or not about this match now.

It's up to the players now and how much they want it.

I have lost confidence against every team.

Its funny that i cant even trust the team at home against anyone.

Of course we are.

Sunderland are well known for their quality attacking football recently, eh?

Evans is out. We will be playing Neville or O'Shea at CB if Rio is out and probably will concede. We just can't keep on strangling ourselves with crappy defending. Do you think Sunderland will be afraid to attack us?

a few days rest will do us good. The team looked fatigued as hell tonight. We need to get back playing with a bit of pace and energy especially if we keep on conceding. When we were defensively solid, we could afford to just sit back and wait to score the goal to come, now we need to look to get a few early goals to take the pressure of us.

Any players back from injury for this one?

No, but I don't think they'll be good enough to worry us much.

Sunderland are in pretty awful form recently.

How could you not be excited?

The last two games have been two of the most entertaining and exciting games all season, long may it continue.

But this team is just a big target right. Every team will fancy their chances of troubling us if they really attack us. Maybe that will play into our hands if we're sharp on the counter, but I can't trust us to keep a clean sheet. Really need Rio back, just to ease tension in the team.

We are absolutely shite at the moment and heading for the Championship fast, Sbragia is too negative we'll sit back let you play and probably beat us by at least 4 goals.

There's nothing at all for you lot to be worried about.

You really enjoyed watching United getting torn apart by Porto?

He's trying to look clever as per usual. Leave him at it.

Only neutrals and Porto supporters would have enjoyed the game this much today. Even if we won 2-1 I wouldnt be so overjoyed.

We were outplayed comfortably by Porto, Brwned.

I can't imagine how any United fan enjoyed that performance. It was torture for me. He's a football fan first, United fan second, I think.

22% more possession, one less shot on target, and we were torn apart?

Righto.

Rio back in the side please.

Whenever we don't manage to get a good result, I just can't wait for the next match. I'm so excited/nervous about this season's finale. I hope the lads are up for it. Come on United!

I hope we thrash them, but I doubt that will be the case. 1-0 is more likely.

Hope Rio's back

But who will play in the middle ?

We'll need Carrick, Fletcher and Giggs fresh for Porto away.

Hope Anderson will be back.

The good thing is we have 3 full days rest as opposed to the 1 day of rest we had in the first leg. I'd be happy with Fletcher-Carrick. The last thing we want is to feck up in the league for the sake of the CL.

  • Rio Ferdinand should be back meaning our first choice defence will be available
  • Wayne is back and scoring
  • Ronnie actually beat a man last night
  • Sunderland have taken two points from their last 6 games
  • They've taken 8 points from their last 6 home games
  • They've lost nearly as many home games as they have won and drawn
  • They have a negative home goal difference. F(17) A(18)

Nobody cares for a prediction?

VDS

Neville
O'Shea
Vidic
Evra

Ronaldo
Anderson
Carrick
Nani

Rooney
Tevez

I don't know, throwing some names out for a debate

----------------------VDS-------------------

--Neville--------Vidic-------Sheasy-------Evra--

--Nani--------Fletcher---Scholes------Ronaldo--

----------------------------Giggs--------------

-------------------Rooney----------------------

Prediction:2-1 victory for us with goals from Rooney, Vidic.

-------------Foster-------------
-Neville-Ferdinand-Evans-O'shea-
-Nani--Scholes-Anderson--Gibson-
--------Welbeck---Rooney-------

I don't know why, I'm seeing a weird line-up for some reason, whilst giving our players (VDS, Ronaldo, Evra, Giggs, Vidic, Tevez, Park, Fletcher) a rest, or put to bench. For some reason I think SAF might go for a gamble, whether it succeeds or not.
