Sunderland vs. Manchester United

Evans has disappeared ever since I put him into my fantasy team.

That's an excellent and strong line-up, but I can't get my head around why Valencia starts ahead of Nani. He just travelled halfway across the world... well... nevermind. COME ON UNITED!

Nani has just returned to training mate. Can't be just put into a match straightaway.

Hopefully having Friday off will galvanize the players. :D

Nani against chelsea

So it will be Rio/Evans as centrebacks at Chelsea, Rooney and Hernandez as our two strikers. Evra, Giggs, Nani and Welbeck another confirm 4 starters

Strong team and a few key players saved for Chelsea.

Only Rafael, Carrick and De Gea will start both games and yet nobody else looks out of place starting today (except perhaps Buttner).

What a freakishly fantastic fecking squad we have.

Good line up. Though doesn't Fergie like to rest players that have to travel long distances during the international break? Guess it's not really an option with the games coming up.

Wouldnt have minded seeing Jones on Monday picking up Mata. Maybe it will still happen.

Are people honestly saying RVP won't play on Monday? I can't see that happening myself. 60-70 minutes for him today provided the result is fairly stable by then and he'll be on the team-sheet for Chelsea for sure.

Is he still going out with that Japanese porn star

He never did, it was a journalist he was photographed with that people had mistaken for Ameri Ichinose or something.

Can't see him starting on Monday at least if we need a result later on going into the 90th minute. Would have prefer Rooney on the bench today though as an additional security

The result is very, very rarely stable by the 60-70 minutes mark. It's more likely that this will be another grim struggle for 90 minutes.

Good line up today, should be enough to beat Sunderland.
Lets hope RvP get's back on the score sheet while a good game for Valencia would also be nice.

CONFIRMED MUFC XI:

de Gea

Rafael
Smalling
Vidic
Buttner

Valencia
Carrick
Anderson
Young

Kagawa
van Persie

SUBS: Lindegaard, Evans, Evra, Powell, Cleverley, Nani, Welbeck.

Decent enough XI, hopefully SAF doesn't persist with Valencia if he continues is run of dogshit form though and sticks Nani on.

Hope Powell can get a good 30 min cameo - want to see how much he has developed.

Good lineup. Delighted to see Vidic and Carrick. Would have been nice to have Hernandez or Rooney on the bench though.

Good lineup.

Hoping Tony does the business today, seeing as he was so good during internationals.

Would have rested Rafael, Carrick and RVP today. Looks like Jones is injured so maybe that's why Fergie did not feel he could rest one of Rafael or Carrick. RVP/Kagawa today means probably Hernandez and Rooney monday which I'm fine with.

Delighted with that lineup. I'd be surprised if we didn't win this comfortably.

I see Sky are using the opportunity to replay "AGUERRREEERREROOOOOOOOOO"

Powell will come on if we are leading by 2+ goals.

No offence to O'Shea but you'd think any striker in the world would fancy themselves against Bramble and O'Shea. Unless we turn up and have a shocker I can see us winning this one with ease.

O'Shea was having a field day against Lewandowski not so long ago. He's obviously past the peak but he's no mug.

We really need a back up for Carrick... somehow he has managed to get through the entire season playing really well without any rest or being injured. Credit to him.

Most half decent sides would fancy their chances putting at least a couple at home to
Reading too.

Said the same when he played every game over the Xmas period. I think Fergie had Fletcher and Jones in mind for cover for Carrick as the more defensive player with whoever the partner is responsible for being the playmaker but for varying reasons has never materialised. Need to address this in the summer as a priority.

I can see Kagawa getting on the score sheet. Small punt on first goalscorer at 8/1

Went for the same but at 6/1 on Boylesport with money back if he assists the first goal.

3 goals in van Persie's last two games and a hat-trick in Kagawa's last United game means we should see some great stuff from them. There's definitely the makings of a good partnership there. Just need one of the wingers to have a good game and it'll be a nice easy win.
