Sunderland vs. Manchester United

Just got home. Line-up? How have we been playing?

Playing okay so far.

De Gea, Da Silva, Vidic, Smalling, Buttner, Valencia, Carrick, Anderson, Young, Kagawa, van Persie

Subs: Lindegaard, Evra, Evans, Nani, Welbeck, Cleverley, Powell.

missed the pre-game, why no Rooney, rested for Monday ?

Fergie said it was due to him being tired.

This from the Telegraph.

We looked at the issue of tiredness with our selection. Rooney has come back tired from a long flight back. He didn't get back until five in the morning and that should have been handled better, maybe. The priority for us is to win the league. Hopefully we can do that and today's a big game in that respect.

Granted Valencia hasn't done much yet, but I think this is the best he has played in a while - except for that cross there.

Read AN's post.

I was being facetious. Which I imagine most people picked up on.

Young is a United player... sorry that you don't think he's not worthy of a poster on your wall or anything, or that you're annoyed that his face is on your Man United bed sheets... but he's a United player, and we, as supporters, should support him and not try to fecking exclude him as someone who we should never get behind or anything... which was the clear implication of your post.

It's not even like he's terrible either. Whether he's good or poor, he always puts the effort in, and he's been good in big games this season - away at City as a perfect example. He's more "us" then me or you will ever be.... mainly because he actually makes a sodding contribution to our club.

Basically, grow up.

Sure thing, I'll read your one while I'm at it.

I am we'll aware of what I wrote. My response was to what was said to me. You missed that middle part of the conversation before responding; a simple mistake.

That's a whole load of breath you wasted there, AN
