No bullshit, straight out attack to win comfortably.

DDG

Rafael
Vidic
Evans
Evra

Carrick
Fellaini

Nani
Kagawa
Rooney

RvP

6-0 win

Yeah, no Rio please. It's become quite obvious now that he's a shell of the player he used to be, sadly.

Also, I want to see Fellaini given more game time to bed in, but we need a win,and Clevelerley looked sharp against ShakAttack.
Front 4 with fluidity and creativity is needed. Play with a huge intensity from the start, and shock Sunderland quickly.

Where is it going to come from? If Moyes keeps benching Kagawa or unless Cleverley begins having great games consistently, the fluidity you speak of may not be there.

I work with somebody and he works security for United, ferries Charlton and some other's around.
He has told me that RVP is injured and wont play on Saturday, both he and Fallaini went to the Bridgewater Hospital when they arrived back in the UK.
He told me he had to carry RVP bag on to the plane, he could hardly walk.
Rooney will be fit to play on Saturday.

I really hope this isn't true. Been incredibly well kept from the press etc if so.

It's nuts that this is already a must win game.

If I was picking I'd go with:

De Gea
Rafael Evans Vidic Evra
Carrick Cleverley
Nani Kagawa Rooney
Van Persie

I suspect we'll see:

De Gea
Rafael Evans Vidic Evra
Carrick Fellaini
Valencia Rooney Young
Van Persie

I agree, the guy I know travelled with the team midweek and travels with them quite a lot.

sake....i'd have swapped him out of the fantasy team, rather than taking a 4 pointer to do other stuff :p

Well if Rooney and RvP are out I'm guessing:

De Gea

Rafael
Smalling
Vidic
Evra

Nani
Carrick
Cleverley
Welbeck

Kagawa
Hernandez

say one thing about Moyes. He does keep injury news discreet/gives players til the end to prove their fitness.

VP v Liverpool, Rooney in midweek etc.

Let's hope it was just a short term thing if anything.

Though I always smell BS when people mention Bridgewater hospital, as it reminds me of all those false transfer stories in the summer, this twat that twat having medicals etc

I agree about the Bridgewater and as a rule I never post anything I have heard just for that reason.
I only posted what I did because I saw no reason for it to not be right, he volunteered the info.

Fantasy footy scout people have started mentioning it now...but the link pretty much seems to be your post!

Thought they're talking a toe injury.

If he misses tomorrow with a sore toe we really have problems!

De Gea
Rafael Evans Vidic Evra
Carrick Cleverley
Nani Kagawa Welbeck
Rooney

Is what I'd like to see if RVP isn't fit. Don't think Shinji will start though (or even play at all ) and possibly Fellaini instead of Cleverley. I'd go with Cleverley personally, Fellaini needs some time to acclimatise and Tom will help us retain more possession which will be key to tiring Sunderlands players out when they inevitably try to close us down like hounds for as long as possible. We really shouldn't be picking Valencia over Nani in a game like this, while obviously Tony gives us extra stability, we really shouldn't be worrying about the attacking options of a team like Sunderland. Something tells me Valencia will play to help Rafa with Sunderland's best player, Giaccherini, whether it's necessary or not.

That back 4 is extremely solid and is miles more reliable than the tripe we saw against WBA.

Saw on twitter that there is no Rio, Ando and Fellaini.

If Rooney isn't fit enough to start, I'd got for the same formation but with a couple of changes:

De Gea
Rafael - Vidic - Evans - Evra
Carrick
Valencia - Cleverley - Kagawa - Nani
Van Persie

We need Rafael to start. He's a big part of our attack, which is kind of sad in itself.

That's not sad in the slightest. Since when has a reliance on attacking fullbacks been sad? Fullbacks play an important roll in the attacking play of almost every successful football team.

RvP toe injury apparently.

So no Rio, Anderson, Fellaini. RvP & Rooney doubtful.
This'll get interesting. We have enough quality to do this.

Ferdinand, Anderson and Fellaini being sidelined is actually a good thing for us IMO.

Agree.

Will be interesting to see if Kagawa starts. I'd put my money on no, even if RvP is definitely out.

If both RvP and Rooney are out, Welbeck-Kagawa-Nani should be the 3 behind Hernandez with Carrick and Cleverley in the middle. If we can be strong at back and don't let them create chances, we should definitely get ours in the game and should score to win this. Any one of Rooney and RvP available and attack will have better look. I am going for a 3-1 win.

Pretty sure he won't. We'll play Giggs, Young and Valencia behind Welbeck if it comes to that.

Should be available on bench at least then. I hope he starts if RvP is out. A must win game for us, this.
