Sunderland Vs Manchester United

21 crosses attempted, 1 completed. It's not working, and shows a complete lack of creativity.

Need something through the middle. Maybe kagawa through the middle might be an option. Nani and januzaj have been tidy but in central areas we seem to struggle to find any space.

This is truly baffling. We can blame Moyes, his team set-ups, his tactics, his coaching staff, Fellaini, whatever, but these are seasoned experienced players, who won the title last year. What in the name of good feck has happened to some of our players? Irrespective of tactics and what-not, good players, and we have good players, should be able to pass the fecking ball to each other. And control it when it comes to them.
Yup, it's the players I blame here. They look so devoid of actually giving a feck out there. I'm starting to believe the idea that SAF got far more out of this squad than it's generally capable of and now we're seeing what it's really like under a lesser manager.

Nani and Adnan our best players, which isn't much of an achievement.

Too slow, no movement and bar an incredible De Gea save and really poor Sunderland miss we'd be further down.

Take Cleverley off, put on Hernandez.

Kagawa for Rooney.

Oh and maybe our lot can hustle the opposition a bit in the second half too. Would make a nice change at least.

RVP AND Rooney off for Kag and Hernandez.

No confidence, no imagination, no substance.

Big, and I mean big, half ahead for Manchester United and David Moyes.

Moyes at halftime.

"Ok boys, let's not panic. Just keeping doing what we've been working on in training".

Players: "what's that boss? As many crosses as possible from the left?"

Moyes: "yes".

Players: "and what if that doesn't work boss?"

Moyes: "Hmmm.... Try crossing from the right?"

How are Nani and Januzaj our toughest players physically, only players to not be out-muscled in that game, the rest are playing like a bunch of fannies.

I'd get in Kagawa for Rooney, play him in the hole and take Vidic off for Smalling, having a mare. We also need something to be done with the midfield, ponderous and lacking bite.. so many things wrong it is untrue.

Decent going forward, but sillly mistakes at the back. Cleverley has been shite today too. Would like to see Kagawa in the middle, can't be worse then the others. Pretty confident we'll win this at the back but our final ball needs to improve.
Best players have been Nani and Januzaj by a very long way.

HT: Lucky to go in at only 1-0. Hopefully Sunderland will tire and we find some form.

I fear for Moyes, if we lose.

I mean forgot the title. We'd be worrying about champions league place.

Sunderland's tactics and poor touches have led to a poor half from Cleverley, Carrick and Rooney in the middle

The good news - Januzaj is fantastic, almost walks past the players.

The bad news - most of the players just look disinterested. I just have a feeling that they don't believe in Moyes.

I didn't want to think that way at first, but I'm starting to think like that too. They're all winners, what would Moyes now about winning at the highest level?
Immature way of thinking, but it could be what's happening.

We must have the worst crossing team of Europe entirely, not just the UK. Countless clueless crosses inside the box, ffs this has taken the bad football we played last year to horrible levels.
Januzay is the only one trying something different, the rest of them have all been disappointing. Adnan has really impressed me with his maturity and initiative.

The thing about fecking Rooney now is that you can't drag him off at HT for Kagawa without provoking another massive sulk.

They're either on loan or no longer kids.

Maybe our Ed and our manager will realise what a big name signing would have done for this team. It gives them a real lift, like RVP did last season, how Ozil has done this season for Arsenal.

I've had 22 years of supporting a world class football team.

feck it, I'm in for a hard scrap against relegation. Could be fun staying up on the last day.

Of course. It is part of the problem, not a full blown blame on Moyes. We were terrible defending last season aswell, just happens RvP was scoring truck loads. Funny how people forget that.

We were creating chance thought. This season we have created feck all.

We just need that bit of luck. Honestly, we've just not been sharp at all but all we need is that one clear chance and im sure the floodgates will open.

Really just been so out of sorts as a team. Its not that we're playing poorly but we're so desperate to score a goal from open play that its leaving us very vulnerable at the back. Seems like the entire team is just out of form and its proving bewildering. Even a player like Vidic who is usually rock solid has given away two poor goals in the space of a week.

Moyes needs to galvanise our troops and give them confidence. Otherwise I can't see how he will be successful here.

Januzaj is the only one that is strong enough on the ball that he doesn't get dispossessed when pressed. Its actually shocking how bad our players are under pressing.

Get Rooney off for me we need more in the middle of the park, the service into RVP is dreadful we need runners from midfield to make us hard to play against. Right now we are so predictable as a unit. On a side note wish Evra would stop trying to play like Baines with those deep crosses he doesn't have that skill set.

HT 0-1

Our defending is a liability. That's the biggest worry for me. These stupid mistakes are crippling our efforts in every game.

Anyway there's no excuse for such a total loss of form. These players need to seriously look at themselves. We're all better than this and we know it. We're really struggling to win any football match at the moment. Making it look like the hardest thing in the world. Most impressive player so far is Januzaj, and the seniors should be ashamed. Just get it done in the second half.

He can't. Said at the start this was probably our best XI and if they can't perform then I'm not sure where we go from here.

Yep. We all know the midfield isn't good enough and the defence are playing like spastics.

There has been some good play from wide though (crossing aside).

We need an early goal in the second half if we want to kick on and win. Goes without saying we can't afford another defensive relapse.

Great save from De Gea has kept us in it.

How the feck can Moyes be blamed for some of the individual nightmares players are having out there? Unless he has insisted on dosing them up with hallucinogens and given them muscle wasting disease.

I agree. Moyes has picked two players to play today and his decision to play them has been vindicated. Adnan and Nani have done really well this half. What I don't like is the standards of the others. These are "World Class", players and yet they are being out-performed by a Nani who has had very little match time and a young player who the manager took a gamble on. Rooney himself should be ashamed of himself, with the money he is on and the quality of his performances.

You've to wonder how on earth the players are trained to be so shit in such a short time.
