The 141st FA cup Final - Chelsea v Liverpool

Since Wembley is mostly used during this part of the year, should the position of the sun have been considered when designing the stadium?

Madness, isn't it? Not sure if it's improved, but remember watching games on a sunny day and the cameras really struggled with the contrast as they pan across the pitch. If you're sat at one end on a sunny day, you melt too, I know because I was sat their boiling while we didn't bother to even try in the final against Chelsea a few years back.

The 50,000m² roof is essential to the operation of the stadium as a sporting and concert venue. Weighing some 7,000t, the roof has a number of retractable edge sections that can be manoeuvred to allow direct sunlight to reach all parts of the grass pitch (to allow the pitch to achieve top quality). If necessary (e.g. during inclement weather), the roof can be retracted in around 15 minutes to cover every seat inside.

The new stadium, which has a circumference of 1km, has shifted 30m north towards Wembley Park station, although the orientation remains the same.

They left the orientation unchanged but moved the turf(?) a little further north. Some of these sites talk about providing direct sunlight for the pitch to make it grow "well" or whatever.

“Lost Salah, Klopp mildly frustrated” feck off Lineker

Hard to call this from here. We’re less balanced without Salah but I think we’ve been the better team. Diaz should be scoring that 1v1.

Chelsea carry a threat on the counter.

All of that footage of those old FA Cup finals with voiceovers from former players, and not one of them is a Man Utd player telling the tale despite our 12 FA Cups.

It's the same every game. All teams just fluff their lines versus Liverpool. It's mental.
The thing is they (Chelsea) don't need to be fearful. I don't think Liverpool are playing that well. However, if Chelsea doesn't get it together you just know Pool will get a lucky goal and win the damn thing.

Allan Clarke there, dirty Leeds bastard haha. Scored opener in 1970 if my memory still works

And Franco. Gem

Oh my days so close! Better from Chelsea

Stop wasting all these chances you feckheads

This is the league cup final all over. Chelsea missing chance after chance.

chelsea should be 3-0 up here.

liverpool’s name on the cup clearly

How does Diaz escape a yellow there ffs :wenger:

Look at Diaz there (despite the foul). More effort in one act of defence than our frontline all season.
