So I just watched this new Devilman Crybaby from Netflix then.

There's been so many Fate/ animes's in Netflix. Any of the good? Fate/Stay night, maybe?
I watched the anthology film Robot Carnival the other day. It was a mixed bunch, with a lot of mediocre stuff. My favourite segment was probably the Presence segment even though it kinda overstayed it's welcome. Joe Hisaishi's creepy score made a big difference.
Seven Deadly Sins - Decent watch. Nothing of critical value though. The animation is good and plot is decent, but the screenplay is tad juvenile. If given a slightly darker shade to the theme, it'd be fantastic!
Start with Fate/zero, then look at Stay night or Unlimited Bladeworks before moving over to aprocrypha.
Story-line wise:
1. Fate/zero
2. Fate/stay-nigth
2.1 Fate/unlimited bladeworks (told from another point of view, small changes to the story but still fairly much the same)
Later on in a alternate universe:

Not watched Prisma illya myself, as I thought it was more loli/hentai stuff from the few clips i saw on anime-reviews, but I think that again is in another alternate universe.
Heavens feel will come out eventually, which will be a alternate 3 where the ending of stay-night or unlimited bladeworks is changed drastically to tell another story.
At least this is from memory, could be wrong.
If you can stomach the depressing setting in Fate/Zero, you'll be fine with the rest as nothing of the rest is remotely as dark.
Watched the opening episode (and currently the 2nd) of Violet Evergarden. So far seems captivating enough for a main-character titled anime. Very interesting post-war setting.
Yeah, the original visual novel is Fate/stay night. Fate/stay night (2006?), Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (2014 and 2010 movie) and Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel (series of movies) are the 3 major story routes in the visual novel.
Fate/Zero is a prequel to that visual novel, and Fate/Prototype is I think an earlier form of what Fate/stay night became. Fate/Zero and Fate/stay night: UBW are considered the best renditions.
Prisma Illya and Apocrypha are both alternate world spin-offs.
I still strongly believe that anyone who wants to get into the animes (and not visual novels) should start with fate/zero and then move on to either of stay-night or UBW. Starting at stay-night would kind of make a lot of things a bit "eh?" for those not in the know.
Yeah, I reckon so too. You do get thrown in at the deep end a bit with Zero, but it serves as a great backdrop for any of the three routes when you get to them. The tone is very different in Fate/Zero though, and it's less about relatable people and characters getting caught up in something larger than themselves, and more of a grimdark assault of tribulations on exaggerated ideologies. tbh, I found Fate/Zero a lot more fun.
I absolutely love Fate/zero. UBW, stay-night & apocrypha is more shows I watch because I'm craving more from Fate/zero.
I ended up getting Crunchyroll as my YouTube feed seemed full of Dragonball Super spoilers and stuff for battle of the universes so I’ve just started watching DBS from the start. Probably going to see if Fist of the NorthStar is on here as well. I’m feeling nastalgic.

S1 was a bit of drag at the end. It started off spectacularly and then tapered off a bit. I liked it still.
I liked the last 10odd episodes. That said it should have ended better, thought the last episode didn't exactly explain things thoroughly. I'm getting addicted to anime TV series, loved Tokyo Ghoul and all.

What I got from this is Kata looks way cooler in the manga with black hair, other thing is this is for me the best fight in the series so far ahead of the fight vs Rob Lucci and the fight vs Doffy

Now I’ve realised In This Corner of the World is on Sky, that is so getting rewatched as well.
I’m sure I enjoyed Death Note a whole lot more on first viewing. Code Geass definitely has the greater rewatch value.
I’ve been contemplating re-watching it again. I loved it on first viewing, but i’ll See if I have the same reaction. That movie Netflix made already sort of tarnished it a bit for me I guess.

That is pretty crazy to be honest. I read the spoilers to this chapter but I wish I hadn't, I just couldn't wait a few mroe hours ffs.
I love how some of the most epic chapters aren't fighting based. This one made me feel so good.
