This is all based on the assumption he does take over in the summer, well aware that it isn't confirmed or close to being confirmed:
Goalkeeper: Hopefully the Mendes connection can keep hold of De Gea a little while longer. However, I think he'll be off sooner rather than later.
Defence: Darmian and Shaw would be his darlings, doubt he could ask for better "Mourinho fullbacks". Smalling his rock, a no nonsense athlete gifted at defending first and foremost. I don't think Blind would continue, hopefully Chelsea's interest in Stones last summer was coming from Mourinho. That would be a great centre back partnership.
Midfield: I'd expect Schneiderlin to start every game. I also reckon he'd really like Herrera. For some reason I don't see it working out well with Schweinsteiger although Jose loves his stable heads. Fellaini to go.
Attack: Martial to be the go too man ala Hazard 14/15. Rooney continuing as captain and first name on the team sheet whether that be in #10 or as striker. Mata is a weird one, logic would suggest he'd be out the door sharpish but football can be strange sometimes. The lack of proven and experienced PL players in our attack might mean he sticks around a while. Januzaj, Lingard gone. Memphis to stay around.
