The Mourhino Regime. Who survives, who doesnt?

Your whole discussion to my key point is a paradox - how can young players prove to be 'ready' if they aren't given to opportunity to prove so? He is wank, but we didn't need a 10 post discussion to come to this conclusion.

So was SAF also wank? Didn't really give many youngsters an opportunity to prove either in his last years.

Doesn't seem to run true for the LVG bashers, if LVG doesn't play youngsters it is because he is wank. With Jose, I think it pretty fair to suggest that he prefers to play with the finished product as he wants to be challenging for the title and other trophies. So he is less likely to take the risk of giving youngsters a platform to show their ability. Chelsea have had some really good youth players and young players they bought. I can't remember him giving them a platform at Chelsea to grow.

Where are all of thous youngsters now?? Even many of youngsters which didn't got an opportunity under Fergie are playing in PL SeriaA and even LaLiga.

Sell Mata sign Griezmann(who he likes) and a right winger. Why would we possibly miss Mata if that happened.

We wouldn't be strengthening the squad if we brought in a right winger, it would be a like for like replacement. We'd still be relying on Lingard as backup which isn't good enough. Mata is a useful player for us and the last thing we need is to change the squad massively AGAIN in the summer. We've been changing the squad way too much in the last few years.

LVG is great with young players and he is very peculiar too, rare are the managers who rely that much on them. As for the rest Chelsea young players have big reputations but tend to be wank, I suspect that it's due to their physical attributes that allow them to dominate their class age but at professional they have mainly been subpar.

True, but they were given an opportunity. Always felt United produce a good quota of PL, Serial A or even itetnational standard players. Unfortunately, that is not enough to make it at the CL level. The PL is littered with United academy players, they just weren't good enough to make it permanently into our first 11. Probably reflects how fortunate we were with class of 92.

Don't remember any Chelsea manager since Mourinho was there at the first time given many youngsters a chance so its maybe not his fault after all.. Even Pep hasn't given many Bayern youngsters a chance since he joined them. At least not many games if there have been any young player.

How is that not strengthening? Lingard is more than capable of being a squad player. Griezmann would be a perfect number 10 for the counter attack. Whilst we have Memphis and Januzaj as alternative wingers. For our attacking options that is more than enough. Mata just causes complications, he wouldn't play with a good right winger and Griezmann.

Not sure there's actually too much spring cleaning Jose would need to do to put his mark on the team. Mata would be out but the rest he would have roles for.

Most likely he'll just be demanding more top quality and a little more depth, you can bet your bottom dollar bids for the likes of Stones/Varane/Griezmann/Pogba/Reus/Cavani will be going in.

We would definitely attract the world's best players again as opposed to the under the radar types we've been doing since Moyes arrived. Mata and Di Maria obvious exceptions.

I'm much more interested in who he'd like to bring in than who goes. Anyone that gets culled can hardly complain.

Stones, Griezmann, Laporte, Koke, Gimenez, Monaco players...

Mata has to go irrespective on whether Maureen signs or not. He's too small and not imposing enough as no 10 and he's too slow to play on the flanks. Mou was right on that one. Regarding the flanks we really need to inject some real quality there on both sides. Depay hasn't done anything to deserve to be considered first team material and we basically have no right winger. Regarding backup for both flanks I guess Depay on the left, Januzaj on the right and Young contending the role on both sides will be good enough for now.

OUT- De Gea, Mata, Januzaj, Perreira, Fellaini, Young, Valencia.

Think he will keep most of the players, but get rid of Fellaini. Will probably try to bring in a striker, a right winger and a midfielder.

It is no secret that we need at least four new players:

CB - Stones
CM - Sanchez
RW - Mahrez
CF - Lukaku/Kane, or move Martial up front and bring in a LW/Reus.

We will struggle to sign those four players but Mourinho will make the task easier.

So we will see much less of Blind, Carrick, Fellaini, Mata and Lingard next season and it remains to be seen if some of them are sold.

I can see Griezmann being his type of player. Super hard working 10 with lots of ability. Not sure on Koke/Laporte though. Stones a given after the bid in the summer.
Griezmann was somebody who Mourinho was interested in while he was at Chelsea I'm pretty sure, so I can definitely see that. But I'm not sure if we'll actually manage to sign him considering how good Atletico is at the moment and how we are.

I've seen Blind mentioned a lot, but I think Mou would take to him given Blind's disciplined play.

It just won't be as a starter at CB...

I would. Love him. Great player especially when used correctly. Deserves a proper run to be able to judge properly. Apart from that, he's a great ambassador for the club and a great role model.

He's one of the key reasons why we have declined in terms of the tempo we play. First name who should be out the door this summer for his many spineless performances.

Writing shit blogs and visiting hospitals is all well and good but we need men in the side not choir boys. He'd be better off at Arsenal.

Think it would be interesting to see who he buys. He certainly loves his pacy wingers and Lampard type attacking midfielders .

Stones
Bale
Barkley

Might need to blow our budget for those though.

One thing I like about mourinho is that given backing, he is very good in transfers. Coupled with our own players like Schneiderlin who could have an impact like Matic did, we could get a good squad in the next window itself

100% we are getting stones if he comes. We will spend money, stones reportedly wants to stay in the area (and not London), mou clearly loves him.

I dont think there will be many departures at all, even mata will be given a chance. I think fellaini could be one we see leave if an acceptable offer comes in, i can see him wanting to make a statement central midfielder a priority along with a winger(maybe mahrez) and john stones.

This should be a statement window in general, our squad needs additions, not ins and outs and luckily for us Jose is the right calibre of manager who can attract big players.

Out : Romero, Johnstone, Jones, Blackett, McNair, Varela, Carrick, Fellaini, Powell, Valencia, Young, Lingard, Depay, Keane.

In : Valdes, Goss, Wilson + transfers.

Mata is a goner. Poor chap must be cursing his luck with Mourinho hounding him out from wherever he goes.

Memphis would need to be a lot better.

And I think Rooney could be in trouble as well if Mourinho comes. The latter won't hesitate to drop him if he serves up poor performances.

Where is Hilario these days ?

He retired a couple of years ago. Not sure what he's up to these days, probably polishing all his medals!

Mata will be sold

Januzaj, CBJ, Lingard, Pereira, Varela will all be loaned out

Blind will be demoted to the bench because no way will Mourinho have him as a centreback.
