Saw the trailer to this when I went to see TDKR, looking forward to it.
I don't understand what they've done to Joseph Gordon Levitt's face in Looper. Presumably they've given him some prosthetics to make him look more like a young Bruce Willis, but they've somehow made him look less like Bruce Willis than he does without them. And he looks nothing like Bruce Willis without them, so that's quite an achievement. He looks like some kind of terrifying futuristic Geordie Shorer with sculpted eyebrows and plastic hair, which, considering Bruce was losing his in his late 20s, also makes no sense. Thus fitting perfectly into the senseless weirdness of the whole thing.
If they wanted him to look like a 30 year old Bruce Willis, they should've just shaved his hairline and cut the end of his nose off.
Who is playing the slave? Omar?
Ah. Only seen him a couple of times but he's always impressed me. I smell Oscar noms all over the place for that movie. Particularly after the huge hue and cry over Shame's snubs.
Why? What's vomit-inducing about it? (genuine question, can't watch it until this evening cos don't have any sound on my computer at work)
I seem to recall you're not a fan of D. D. Lewis, is it because of him?
