It's made by the same guy who did Primer, which was a really complex mindfeck.
Danny McBride is hilarous...essentially plays the same character in most of the things he does but I haven't grown tired of it yet. Looks like a decent comedy.
What did you think of Primer?
Intriguing but impossible to take in in just one viewing.
I loved it. Yeah, definitely needs more than one viewing to properly take in and even understand half of it. Great to re-watch.
I'm glad people here have heard of Primer, normally when I mention that film in a conversation, I see smoke coming out of people's ears... I love it for the fact that it treats it's viewer as an adult and allows you to figure things out for yourself rather than spoon-feed it to you like that piece of shit Inception. I think Primer, along with Synecdoche New York was one of the few films that require multiple viewings just to fully understand/appreciate the story. Love it.
Is primer the 2004 $7K sundance budget one?

Trailer was pretty shit, will have to be really good to get to the excellent of the original.
Sissy Spacek scared the shit out of me when I first watched it.
Chloe Mortez is rumoured to be the choice for the Bride's child in Kill Bill 3 too, if it ever gets made.
She's definitely the go to in everything now. You can see endless exec meetings with them trying to think of more remakes of films with girls in to cast her in.

I hope they make a Kill Bill 3, but it looks like it wont happen.
She's got quite a CV already and with Kick Ass 2 and Carrie coming out this year she's only going to get more popular. Just looking at her IMDB page and she has 9 movies either in pre or post production, she's going to be in fecking everything soon.

Yeah, I'd agree. Everything else looks a bit samey, and Jack the Giant Slayer looks terrible....But then I assume it's for kiddywinks.
