Film The Movies I want to see thread

I'm vaguely familiar. A movie about a demon that comes out of the protagonists arse and murders people who upset him, springs to mind. But this one is truly special. The music, effort, seriousness of it. At the start I thought it was part of Marvel phase 3, and I was waiting for the real effects to kick in, then the full horror of what I was watching slowly dawned on me.
Haha you are referring to Bad Milo... here's another I posted that you may have missed

Yes, hopefully he'll pull this one off. The novel is supposed to be riddled with twists and turns, right up Fincher's alley in other words (even though it's rumoured that Flynn and Fincher have changed the ending, whatever that was in the novel). Thought The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo was a disappointment, and every other film he makes seems to be a masterpiece (Se7en, Fight Club, Zodiac and The Social Network - all of them the best films of their respective years for me).

Not to rain on anyone's parade but the first draft of the script was really, really, really, really bad. (It was written for Steven Spielberg about ten years ago and he politely decided to 'pursue other projects'. You could easily imagine him saying 'WTF this is the exact same movie a buddy of mine already made!' That bad.)

Well this one is written by Jonathan and Chris Nolan, so I'm not too worried.

That first draft was written by John Nolan. It might be available online.

When they went into production they made a point of spreading the word that the infamously terrible script had been 'fixed' by his brother; except this was after the last Batman movie, so the response was 'Okay, so allegedly Christopher Nolan didn't like it either and 'fixed' it, but this is the guy that went ahead with Dark Knight Rises so how much could he have possibly fixed?'

Nothing against them at all. Fingers crossed it turns out great. But it really was that bad.

Perhaps it was, but I trust Chris' judgment (and The Dark Knight Rises was hardly bad). I prefer his earlier films (The Prestige, co-written with Jonathan, is one of my favorite films this side of the millennium, Memento, Insomnia and Batman Begins (the best of his Batman films in my opinion)), but he's yet to make a bad film.

Anyway I'm looking more forward to Gone Girl. Also Michael Mann has completed filming of his "Cyber", but very little information has been released about it so don't quite know what to expect there.
