Barr has cancelled tomorrow because as far as I can tell, the Democrats had voted to allow staff members to question Barr. Probably something to do with Schiff recruiting some top lawyers to work for him and the intelligence committee.
Last thing Barr wants is a razor sharp lawyer drilling him on live TV

Trias Politica is truly failing if the administration can continue to dictate Barr and some in the DoJ, or the Treasury for that matter to not responding to House requests. A true three way democracy it is not by any means and probably never was..but the amount of executive power the Rs gave to the WH since the Reagan years is truly disturbing.

A) no one here is stanning for Barr, B) Trump isn't going anywhere because the democratic leadership are cowards and the republicans are domestic terrorists.
Trump has committed such a long list of crimes on an almost daily basis that you don't need the mueller report to impeach and imprison him. But it's not going to happen because the states political system is so broken and corrupt that it is wholly incapable of punishing the upper echelons of society for wrongdoing. The I told you so posters don't think Barr's summary was accurate (most of us don't anyway). But we think it is impossible for Trump to face the music in the political system he exists. Because the system is set up to protect him and sweep all crimes committed by the rich and powerful under the rug.
He has credibly been accused of rape, money laundering, accepting and facilitating personal bribes, finance campaign violations, national security violations and a shitload more crimes outside of the mueller report. And nothing has or will happen to him. Because there are deliberate gaps in the American criminal justice system that allow him and his class to get away with it.

it's a pushback to the "mueller time" memes, with tens of millions of Americans thinking a man complicit in the Iraq war, working in the political system he works in, is going to have even the smallest impact in dismantling the ingrained corruption of Washington.
Establishment Dems need to grow some. What is there to negotiate ,Barr never showed up ,Subpoena him.
