Since we've created history and now own the title of biggest transfer in world football with Pogba, who's next and to which club? Hazard to Madrid if we comes good? Lewandowski moving from Bayern?

Apologies if there's already a thread on this. Mods feel free to delete if that's the case.

According to the transfer tweet thread, Griezmann has a buyout of 100 mill euros, so would be slightly cheaper than Pogba

If that is the case, we should be all over that next season and get him here.

Also next season, Real will have their transfer ban and Barca have enough players in those positions.
We should be in for him as Rooney's long term replacement.

And having gotten Pogba, Martial, Schneiderlin... you can see the French influence that might tempt him.
Oh and of course use that and Jose's presence to then add Varane.

Even without a ban, I doubt he'd move from Madrid to Madrid

We're basically home free on Griezman next year

Our only rivals are Bayern and City, and I think he'd choose us

Bayern have Muller for the same position. It's us, Chelsea, City & PSG who would be in for him.

Precisely. Not to mention next summer, we'd be able to offer CL football. And if we aren't able to offer CL football, we've got way bigger problems!

I however wouldn't be surprised to see if he followed Simeone if Simeone signed up for one of the bigger clubs. That I can see happening. But it would be some oversight if we didn't do everything in our power to get Antoine here..

I think there are three players that could break the record if they moved in the next year: Messi, Neymar and Bale (notwithstanding a top player surprisingly moving to China) so I have a feeling this record might stand for a few years.

Sanches from Bayern to Real Madrid.

Will it ever be broken again?

There's a better thread somewhere where people guessed the player and the fee. Would be interesting to see if anyone got close.
